Chapter 13

"Lexi. Lexiiii. LEXIIIIIIIII!" Julie was screaming my name. I woke up and looked at the time. It was eight am.

"Julie, why the hell do you expect me to wake up this early? Are you dumb?"

"Well, yes." She said and we both burst out laughing.

"No but for real why'd you wake me up?" I asked her calmly.

"We're hanging out all day." She said.

I stood up and stretched. I was half asleep, had black circles under my eyes.   Plus I had no clothes or makeup. But Julie replied as if she had read my mind.

"Pick anything out of my closet and then you can use my makeup." She said walking to her closet.

Damn, she knows me better than anyone. I walked over to her closet and we both started to look through her clothes. We decided on wearing shirt that showed we were best friends. Hers was black crop top with blue flowers and mine was a black crop top with pink flowers. She chose a high waisted blue skirt and I chose a pair of greyish high waisted shorts. *Outfit Above. Lexis is the top. Julie's is on the bottom*
After we got dressed we pulled out her makeup and started. She did a winged eye liner with white eyeshadow kind of in the middle. I put on some normal white eyeshadow and did a simple wing with her eyeliner.

I somewhat straightened my hair and brushed it out. Julie kept her hair in its natural waves and then tied a little bit of it up. I slid on a pair of her pink vans and she slid on a pair of blue ones. We both pulled our phones off the chargers. I put mine in my pocket and she held hers in her hand.

We picked up our wallets and headed downstairs after taking one last mirror check. We were greeted by her parents watching tv in the living room.

"We're gonna go out for a little bit okay?" Julie said to her parents.

They both looked at us at the same time.
"Okay. Have fun girls" her mom said as we walked out to Julie's car.

"So where are we going?" I asked her when she started the car.

"I don't know. Where do you wanna go?" She asked pulling out of the driveway.

"The mall?" I suggested.

"Okay!" She said with a smile. I guess she liked that idea.

We drove for a while before the song stitches by Shawn Mendes came on the radio and I immediately turned it up. We both started to scream the lyrics while dancing around in the car. When that song was over Justin's new song What do you mean came on. I wasn't a huge fan of him but his music was still really good.

When we got to the mall we both got out and both ran to Aeropostale. We went to the back of the store and started looking at the clothes. I found a really cute shirt from the United 26 clothing line. These boys have a good taste in clothes. I grabbed about four of that brand of shirts and a couple crop tops. We went up to the register to pay. Once it was all paid for we picked up our bags and started to walk.

"Julie can we go to Claire's? I need a new phone case." I asked her.

"Sure!" We both ran to Claire's like we were twelve again. I went to the phone cases and started looking at some. I found the cutest one and walked back to where Julie was. We both picked out a flower crown and a beanie. We paid for our items and left.

"I want Starbucks." Julie turned to me.

"Typical." I said while laughing.

We walked across the street and went in. We both ordered a Carmel Frapuccino and waited. Once our drinks were ready we walked back over to the mall. We went to kohl's and started to look for some more clothes. I found a pair of high waisted shorts, a pair of leggings, and a cute pair of skinny jeans. Julie picked out a high waisted skater skirt, a grey crop top, and a pink crop top. We walked up to the counter and I'll admit, the guy at the register wasn't ugly. He was act silly pretty cute.

After handing us our bags he told us to have a nice day and we went to another store. We both found really cute bathing suits and bought them. As we left the mall I ran into my ex boyfriend Corey Stevens.

"Oh hey! Lexi! Long time no see." He said to me while hugging me.

"Yup, now you can not see me again. Bye" I said pushing him off me. I started to walk away and he grabbed my wrist.

"You don't walk away from me. Ever. Or I can do the same thing I used to do to you."

Corey used to abuse me. A lot. It sucked. He would abuse me then I would come home to get abused by my aunt. He would slap me, kick me, punch me, elbow me, he would do anything that would put me in pain. No one knew he did this to me. Not even my best friend.

"You aren't gonna touch me you asshole." I said pulling away from him. We got in the car and drove back to Julie's house.

We walked inside and I checked my phone. I had a call from James. I answered it and he said he could leave as soon as I signed a paper. I sat down my bags and we walked back out to the car. When we got to the hospital we went to the third floor. I walked into James's room and saw her. The bitch that hurt both me and James. Chloe.

"What the hell is this bitch doing here?" I asked James disgusted.

"She apologized and I'm giving her another chance." He said to me.

"Okay whatever." I walked out of the room to go sign the papers. But my hair was pulled. I turned around to see Chloe.

"What the fuck?!" I practically screamed.

"You try to ruin my relationship with James again, you're gonna regret it whore." She said to me.

I ran up to her and pulled her hair. She stumbled backwards and I started to hit her again and again. I didn't hurt her. I let her go and turned her around.

"I'll do whatever the hell I want. Remember, I can beat your ass again."
