Jule fell onto the ground with a thud, that crystal ball thing was a bad transporter. It almost killed her!
She turned her head for Ace, but she was already pulled up to her feet before she had the chance. He smiled as he let go of her hand, and looked ahead. Jule decided to look around in her surroundings.
It was a grassy field, the breeze weirdly smelled of honey, and the clouds seemed to look dashing up in the sky. But sadly, that's not where Jule was focusing on right now. "Where the hay are we?"
"In the realm we're supposed to be in." He answered simply as he began walking.
Jule frowned as she followed him, upset. "You weren't kidding about the long journey were you?"
"Nope."
They began walking for what seemed like hours. Tramping their feet across the grass, breathing heavily. The sky began to slowly become darker with each passing hour. When sundown came, Jules stopped walking.
She breathed deeply, feeling her heart practically pound off her chest. Ace stopped walking as well, and frowned at her. "Why did you stop?"
Stilling breathing heavily, she placed her hands on her knees. "Need...break."
Ace stood silent for a moment, before smiling at her with amusing eyes. "Break's over. Let's go."
Jule widened her mouth in disbelief. "What? That was a minute."
"Yeah, a minute we wasted on finding shelter before it gets dark."
Jule looked around, it was actually getting dark. She sighed, straightened her back. "Fine, can I at least have water?"
"Sure." He grabbed a water bottle from his bag, and threw it to her. She caught it expertly, and began chugging it down her throat. "But be sure to remember, this will be your only one for the entire week."
Jule quickly stopped drinking, and looked it over quickly. She groaned, she had already finished half the bottle. She glared over at Ace, he was beginning to eat her nerves. "You could've said that before I actually drank it."
He began walking away, waving it off. "I was, but you rushed. Never had the patience."
Ooh, he was irritating her. They began walking again, and she tucked her bottle in his bag. They walked, and walked looking for a place to stay for the night. Jule hated it, when she wanted to find her parents, she hadn't meant to actually go on a this long journey.
When they finally found a cave, it was already dark. Ace took out a flashlight, and told her stay there. He went inside, and she waited worriedly. When he came out, he nodded, motioning her in.
She slowly came, looking around. "It's small."
He looked around as well. "Yeah, but safe."
Jule frowned, she didn't know where they were going to sleep. There was nothing but dirt on the ground. Ace made himself comfortable, sprawled on the ground, stretching his arms, and closing his eyes. Jule stared at him in disbelief, she couldn't believe what she was seeing with her own two eyes. Even a girl like her couldn't do that, she trusts nothing in this so called world.
As if sensing her thoughts, he lifted one eye open. "Something wrong?"
"Yeah! The floor. How are you comfortable to sleep on the ground like that?"
"Simple, lived in this world for years. I'm used to it."
"But you were on earth, the other world, weren't you used to a bed?"
