The centaurs paddled forward, one in front of all others. The half man thing had focused eyes, long brown hair, and a bare buff upper body. He held a bow and arrow, staring at the her and Ace. Jule figured he was the leader of his kind.

Nonetheless, she was grateful. Ace managed to pick himself up, and stood. He looked at the centaurs, and bowed respectfully. Jule stared the whole time, widening her eyes at the action. She felt like she would get up, if she wasn't in so much pain. It like there was like thirty of them, Jule honestly thought it was cool.

The leader paddled to Ace, and nodded his head. He looked over at Jule, and done the same motion. Jule barely knew what to do, she only bowed her head awkwardly before staring with such queasiness. The leader didn't seem to notice, and paddled past them.

Jule turned around, and watched as the leader went over to the lifeless dragon. Jule stared with caution, she was still afraid that thing would suddenly wake up, and kill them all. She couldn't possibly see how a mere arrow could kill something so huge.

The leader grabbed a hold of the arrow in the dragon's eye, staring at it carefully. Jule immediately knew what would happen next would be disgusting. The leader then yanked the arrow from its place, taking the eye with it. Jule looked away, suddenly feeling nauseous. The eye was big, and black. She saw the gore drip on the ground before looking away. She was utterly disgusted.

She looked over at Ace, he was smiling widely. Jule knew she shouldn't be surprised, he was used to those kind of thing. The other centaurs stared with delight, but it wasn't the only thing. It was also triumph. It was obvious that they took pride in what they kill, including Ace as well.

She looked back without thinking, and saw the eye again. But this time, she didn't turn away. The leader began to do something that was so interesting. Yet, priding. The leader held up the eye in the air, revealing his act of victory. Cheering was sounded as soon as that happened, it caused Jule to look back, and see all of the other centaurs were cheering their heart out.

Ace included, clapping loudly. Jule didn't understand the excitement produced over killing a big creature, the other centaurs didn't have to do anything anyway. She figured Ace was doing so for support, loyalty, and respect. They continued to cheer for their leader, hollering with mouths open. Though she didn't hardly understand, she thought it was cool.

When the leader put down the eye, the cheering died down. But they were still chatter of triumph. The leader paddled to Jule and Ace, smiling. He held his hand out towards Ace's direction. It caused Ace to take his hand proudly, his eyes full of delight. They stared at each other, holding proud gazes. Standing still, taking each others appearance.

It was then Jule realized that they knew each other, probably long ago when Ace was still in this world. The way they stared, it was as if they just seen their long lost friend. It was probably true anyway.

It was Ace who first broke the silent stare, letting go of the leader's hand and speaking happily. "Thelon, how long?"

Thelon laughed, and patted Ace's shoulder. "Quite long my boy, quite long."

Ace nodded, and opened his mouth to say something. But Jule interrupted that by speaking up herself, she was curious. "So how did you know Ace? I'm just curious- "

Ace stopped her, he grabbed her by the waist and placed a hand over her mouth. Jule glared, she didn't like this at all. Its like the time Shari covered her mouth to shut her up when she asked Tyler Grim a question if he wanted Shari. It was mean, and disgusting. Jule just wanted to set things stright, but Shari wanted to keep things quiet.

Jule grabbed Ace's hand, and tried to pull it off. She barely had luck, he was too strong for her to even make a single budge. Ace quickly excused himself, and walked away with Jule right beside him. When he let go, Jule thumped his arm. It upset her, it upset her to then see he did not even flinch.
