CHAPTER FOURTY TWO

Naramdaman kong may humalik sakin sa pisngi kaya nagising ako at nabungaran ko ang nakangiting Joshua. I felt some annoyance toward him. Aba! May guts pa syang ngumiti sakin ng ganyan pagkatapos nyang iwan ako kagabi?

"Morning sleepy head."

"What are you doing here? Pagkatapos mo akong iwan kahapon!"

"I'm sorry wife." Niyakap nya ako ng mahigpit. "Nagkadiarrhea kasi ako kagabi and i had no chance na magpaalam sayo."

"Why you didn't even text me?"

"Because i fall asleep. I'm really sorry... forgive me."

"Okay."

Ako lang ba o talagang naging masyasong clingy si Joshua sakin this past few days. Lagi syang nasa tabi ko. Literally. Para bang binabantayan nya ako at minsan nagiging paranoid sya kung wala ako sa tabi nya. I don't doubt him but i was really curious kung ano ang dahilan ng biglaan nyang pagbabago. Hindi naman sa away ko sa mga ginagawa nya but... basta!

"San ka nagpunta wife? Kanina pa kita hinahanap!" He hugged me tightly at naramdaman ko na namasa ang likod ko.

"S-sa canteen lang hub. Why ba?"

"Don't do that again."

"O-okay." Humiwalay na syang ng yakap sakin at ngumiti.

Tulad na naman ngayon, napaparanoid sya. Wala akong nagagawa kundi ang umoo nalang.

Weekshave past at ganun parin sya. Today is our first aniversary. Meaning, malapit na kaming grumaduate at ikasal. I was so very exited at minsan di ko maiwasang magdaydream.

"San ba tayo pupunta?" Bago ako makababa sa sasakyan kanina piniringan nya ako.

"Just wait wife."

"Okay."

After a few steps, he removed my blindfold. "Here we are."

"Wow!" The place was so magical. Natatandaan nyo ba yung burol noon na pinuntahan namin? The ground was filled with a lot of scented candles and scattered  rose petals. Nakaset up din ang dinner table for two.

"Do you like it?"

"I love it! Thank you." Niyakap ko sya at hinagkan. I was really thankful that i have him.

"Happy aniversary wife."

"Happy aniversary too."

"So shall we eat? Nagugutom na ako." Tatawa tawa nyang sabi.

I nodded and then he guided me to sit.

We ate joyfully and our dinner filled with laughter.

"May i dance with you?" Nilahad nya ang kamay nya ng pumainlanlang ang music.

I clucked when he kneel down.

(PLAYING:THINKING OUT LOUD)

'When your legs don't work like we used to before'

He was smiling from ear to ear.

"Why your so beautiful wife?"

"Ewan ko." I playfully shrugged my shoulder.

Bahagya syang lumayo sakin. He cupped my face and then kissed me. My eyes automatically shut. It was the very romantic kissed that we shared. Parang ito yung first kiss ko.

'Me i fall inlove with you every single day'

"I love you wife."

'And I just wanna tell you i am'

"I love you too."

'So honey now'

'Take me into your loving arms'

'Kiss me under the light of a thousand stars'

'Place your head on my beating heart.'

"I'm sorry."

'I'm thinking out loud.'

'Maybe we found love right where we are.'

"Huh? For what hub?"

"Louise.....
