Moving away

Megan's POV

I can't take it anymore, the hospital, the people, the sounds. No I can't...

I have no where to go, mum isn't home, she's gone.

WAIT! Aunty Jude.

Before I knew it I was up and running, sprinting in fact. I let my long brown hair fall as I ran, tears falling from my dark hazel eyes.

"James street" I whispered to myself. There! Found it.

I ran up to the door and started knocking frantically until Jude opened the door. I jumped onto her giving her the tightest hug.

We broke the hug and of course, I was in tears again.

"J- Jude.." I barely made out.

"Yes honey" she replied looking down at me. Not to mention how small I was.

"Sh- She- she's gone!" I ended up shouting falling to the floor.

She stared at me for a while, tears forming from her deep blue eyes.

"H-honey, come in" she stuttered.

I slowly walked in, and sat my self down on her couch.

Jude came in and asked "where do you have to go?"

"Honestly, I- I don't know..."

"Do you remember Caren?"

"Uhh yeah, a tad. And her little shit of a son Cameron?" I stated.

"Yeah.. Well I thought maybe you could stay there for the time being" she said.

"WHAT ARE YOU KIDDING?!?" I shouted, with my tears literally jumping off my face.

"Well yeah, you can't stay here" she said.

"Uh, yeah that's true.. Well when will I go?" I asked.

"Tomorrow morning, I'll ring her and we can go grab your things from home."

"Okay, there's a key under the mat so I'll grab them."

"Okay cool, I'll ring Caren now!"

Jude's POV

*phone call*

"Hey Caren it's Jude!"

"Hello Jude! Haven't spoken in a while" she replied.

"I have very bad news Caren.. You know Juliet (Megan's mum and Carens best friend)"

"Yes"

"Well Megan woke up to a loud scream to then find Juliet un continuos on the ground with hit marks on her face, not breathing."

"WHAT!" Caren screamed on the other end of the phone. She began to freak out.

"Calm down! Calm down!!" I yelled.

"I need to ask you a favour." I asked.

"*deep breathing on the other end of the line*"

"O-okay, what's the favour." She replied.

"Well Paul (Megan's dad) has left, no sign of him. But Megan needs someone to live with for the meantime. Is it alright for Megan to live with you and Cameron for the mean time?" I asked pleadingly.

"Oh Jude! Of course she can." She said with her voice softening.

"She can come tomorrow morning!" She said.

"Oh great! That's Caren!"

"No problem hun, and I hope you're okay after all this."

"It is hard, very hard. But I need to think of Megan for now."

"Thanks again." I said

"Bye!" She replied.

*end of phone call*
