Jade's POV
I anxiously waited for Kian to start explaining himself.
"I fuck basically all of my clients and journalists-"
"-I knew that."
"Wait, let me finish. But I don't really mean to."
"What?"
Kian's POV
Well here it goes...
"I really like you. I do. I wanted to get to know you first before I did anything rational like have sex. When Matthew got all protective I was freaking out. When I'm with you I just want you all to myself. Every time I hear your voice it twirls my stomach and my heart does back flips. I feel like in everything I do I have to impress you to get you to like me. You terrify me. But at the same time I'm falling for you."
I looked at her nervously waiting for her reply.
Jade's POV
What the Fuck. My boss, basically the most hated guy in town, is falling for me?
"Fuck," I mumbled to myself.
I couldn't help but feel a pit of warmth in my stomach. I ran out of the house and over to Tyler's. I started crying mid sprint. Why me? Why did I have to be the one Kian Lawley fell for? Why did I have to be the person? WHAT IS LIFE?! I knocked on Tyler's door. The lump in my throat growing by the second. He answered and asked me what's wrong.
"Tyler i-its I-"
That's when I lost it.
I started bawling my eyes out. Tyler pulled me inside and sat me on his couch. He grabbed me a cup of apple cider and rubbed my back while I sobbed. After a bit I calmed down to where I could tell Tyler what happened. I told him every detail while he sat there like a toddler on a sugar high. His facial expressions changing throughout my distinguished story.
"Holy hellfire. So you invited him over, cuddled, and he confessed his love for you and you just ran out?"
"Yep basically. Wait, SHIT I LEFT HIM IN MY HOUSE." I jumped up and ran out of Tyler's house and sprinted through my grass. I busted through my door and my house was dead silent. I heard low sniffling. I walked upstairs and my bedroom door was ajar...
