Dakota's POV
Matthew was so sweet last night. He brought home food and a movie. We just had an us night. It felt great. When he called for me my stomach jumped into my lungs. When he talks I am completely in a trance. His scent makes me fall in love. I have utterly fallen for him.
Matthew walked into the bedroom. He looked at me with wanting eyes, like he wanted to tell me something. He sat next to me. "Can I talk to you?"
Oh shit. Please don't let it be what I think it is.
"Yeah."
The amount of nervousness was written all over his face. I could tell he was indecisive if he wanted to tell me this or not.
"Okay so whatever I say you can't get mad at me."
"Okay Lee!" I giggled.
He held his hands in mine, "Look, I know I've been kind of a douche--"
"--a big douche."
He sighed. "A big douche over the past couple of months. But I've been really stressed with college applications, graduating, and keeping our relationship strong so I smoked marijuana."
"You WHAT."
"Hey you can't get mad at me! But anyways when we were hanging out I wouldn't touch you because i didn't want you to smell it on me. I did it because I wanted to try and suppress the stress so I wouldn't be negative around you."
"Babe you should've talked to me. I could've helped you through this."
Did he not trust me?
Did he really feel the need to hide this from me?

Jade's pov
We arrived at Jc's for a party but there wasn't really any cars in the driveway. Just ours, his, Hailey's, and Matthew's car. We knocked on the door and a small blonde girl answered. She was very small actually. She was shorter than me.
"Hi guys! I'm Hailey!"
Kian smiled, "Hey Hailey. This is my girlfriend Jade."
She smiled at me, "You're so much prettier than Kian described."
I blushed, "oh thank you."
She invited us in and ran to the kitchen. She came back with a tray of water bottles, sprite and coke cans.
"I didn't know what you guys wanted so I just brought some stuff."
Jc came down the stairs while buttoning his shirt, "Babe is someone her- hey!" He smiled and walked over to us. He hugged me and did a guy handshake with kian. He kissed Hailey and looked at her. But he didn't just look at her. He stared at her. It looked like a white aura radiated off of them. They were beautiful together. I hope she treats him right.
"So how are you guys?"
"We're good," Kian put his arm around me and kissed my head. "I can finally say this girl is my official girlfriend."
Jc grabbed a sprite, the sizzling sound ringing in my ears, "Congrats! I think you guys are cute. Better than the trash Kian used to hang around with." He laughed. "These girls were horrid. Like the ones that have fake teeth, onion breath, oily ass hair, cheek piercings, he's been through it all."
I giggled, "Is this true?"
He rubbed the back of his head nervously, "Yeah.."
"I'm dead," I fell back dramatically on the couch. "So tell me about you Hailey."
Her face reddened from being called on so suddenly.
"Well I'm 19, I work at Hometown Pizza, I like music like who doesn't right? I also like soccer and basketball."
"Oh cool! I like soccer too!"
We basically talked about soccer while the guys talked about film software.
Hailey and I became good friends after that first meeting.
I feel like something's off though while we're out in public. I feel like someone's, watching me.
