Kians POV
So today is the day. The day I'm gonna meet the girl I'm so called in love with. I wonder what she'll look like. Will she be blonde or brunette? Thick or thin? Tall or short? I don't know but I'm excited to find out. My hair is a complete mess. I sat there for at least 12 minutes with water and gel trying to make it look good. I shook my head in frustration and brushed it out. I'll just put a hat on instead. God I'm so nervous.
Jade's POV
I sit here in Dairy Queen tapping my fingers on the table anxiously. What am I supposed to say? Hey I'm in love with you but I ran out on you when you confessed your love for me and you tried to commit suicide because of me.
Yeah.........

The bell rings and my head snaps up. I sighed. Just another elderly woman. It rings again and I see the 6 foot giant walk in. My heart thumps against my chest like someone is on the inside banging to get out. My legs became numb but I had to get up. I walked over to him and put on that fake, plastic, barbie doll smile.
"Hey kian."
He looked at me confused.
"It's Jade."
"Oh hey!" He hugged me. I felt as if I was going to melt. It'd been so long since I'd felt him. I felt like I was going to cry thinking about what I did.
"Hi. Do you want to get some food?"
"Sure I'll pay, what do you want?"
"Just a chicken strip basket and a strawberry milkshake."
"Okay just go pick a seat and I'll be there."
"okay."

"So how did we meet?"
"I became a journalist at your writing company."
"and I'm in love with you?"
"Yes."
he held my hands, "I know this must be tough for you. I'm trying to wrap my head around everything. I feel horrible for making you cry at the hospital."
I felt warm.
"I want us together kian. You don't know how bad I want to just kiss you right now but I can't. You don't remember me."
"I mean I can try."
"I don't want to force you kian. Love comes naturally."
"Maybe we could just go through memories of us together to help me remember?"
"Sure," I smiled at him. For the first time I felt there was hope.
