Hermione and Ginny: Travelling Through Time

Meeting

Hermione was walking around the same castle she had walked in everyday for nearly four years however it was so different. The paint was a completely different colour which didn't look as nice and everything was old fashioned, there was more dirt on the walls and wasn't as clean as it was in their time.

There was definitely more classrooms than before and as she peeped inside the desks were lay out different and there wasn't as much equipment as now. Outside was grim, the weather was horrendous rain which matched the feelings Hermione had.

She began to walk at a fast pace causing her to slip and fall backwards with a shock, she realised the floor had been moped and as she turned she saw Filch the caretaker. He was still his miserable self with gritty teeth and a frightening face which right now looked more healthier and full of life.

She slided to the wall hoping he didn't see her, but he shouted 'who's there!' Hermione's heart beat faster as he walked closer and closer just as he was near to her he heard a bang and turned back. Hermione sighed heavily and carried on walking backwards checking to see if he didn't come back until she bumped into a figure, Ginny!

She spun around noticing who it was immediately they screamed quietly at each other due to the fact of what had happened. Ginny was biting her nails anxiously while Hermione was rubbing her temple.

"What are we going to do!"

"I have no idea Ginny, but there's only one thing we can do. Figure out how to go back using these necklaces."

"So you mean to tell me these necklaces are the time turners what the daily prophet was talking about!"

"Yes Ginny. Listen I've used a time turner before and you can always go back we just have to figure out how to work these necklaces!"

Hermione and Ginny tried several attempts they tried everything from putting the necklaces on and off again to enchanting spells on it, they were desperate and needed to get back before someone spotted them. Well someone else other than Rita and Remes.

"Listen, we've tried loads of times we aren't ever going to get it."

"But we can't give up!" Hermione protested.

"But we don't even have any idea what we are doing, it hasn't got a button on it, you can't even turn it and no spell can make it work."

"Oh no."

"What!" Ginny shouted.

"What if there was a fault and he didn't create how to go back."

Ginny clasped her hands over her face, they couldn't live here forever what would they do. They couldn't fit in with these students and Harry, what would he be thinking. They would definitely mess up the future just by being here, it was way too risky.

"Listen we need advice, who to go too??"

They both thought hard then their faces lit up as they looked up and shouted in unison.

"Dumbledore!"
