As they were joyfully eating their food they saw a glimpse of a bunch of girls behind them sniggering and pointing at them, they looked at each other bewildered by this. What had they done? Did someone stick something on their back, do they even do that in this time?

Hermione felt her back which felt as it normally did, she shook her head to ginny who did the same. Well what was it, they then wiped their faces hoping they didn't have food on their mouths, but Ginny knew it was only Ron who hurried with his food and ended up feeding his whole face, but no one ever laughs at him.

Maybe it's because they're girls and are meant to have polite manners? Ginny huffed tired of all the sniggering, she emerged from her seat and stomped over to them, "what's your problem?!" She shouted at them, but just like they couldn't hear her they completely ignored her and chuckled even more.

"Don't you like us, is that it and you're trying to embarrass us!?" She shouted more angrily this time, however this time one of the girls looking delighted and spoke up.

"No why wouldn't we like you, are you 'crazy'!" The other girl burst out laughing when she emphasised on the word 'crazy' as if it was meant to signalise something else. Ginny rolled her eyes and tired of trying to find out what the problem was went back to Hermione and her unfinished plate.

When they were finished they headed out with a few stares and whispers, they were all starting to get annoyed.
They hurried back to the dormitory where they sat infront of the scorching fire heating them up and Hermione sighed peacefully as she finally got to sit on the chair Harry always seemed to steal.

Well, Hermione had never really used that chair, she never had a chance to but she liked it. It was pleasant and relaxing by being right in front of the beaming fireplace. Lily snatched the Daily Hogwarts newspaper on the desk and started scrolling through it but before she could turn the first page Hermione stood up and directed a question at her.

"How did this newspaper start?"

Lily looked up and smiled as if it was a huge story in itself.

"Well, Rita skeeter always has wanted to be a journalist so she had a good idea to make a school newspaper to say you know, the new activities, quidditch match times, interesting things happening in Hogwarts, however Dumbledore didn't agree as sometimes like the daily prophet they go a little too far making mean comments and he feared she would go deep into people's private lives so he forbid it.

However she begged and begged and begged promising she wouldn't go too far and that it would really improve and increase her chance of being a journalist, so he finally after lots of questioning said yes. Recently it's been quite interesting and it also has topics going on outside Hogwarts and the teachers are asking her to say positive things about their classes, some of the public actually do listen to her.

Hermione scoffed.

Anyway, she hasn't actually gone too far because well, she can't really get into people's private lives and also we are all kids here so nothing major and interesting happens to us, but! The moment she gets a whiff of huge news I'm so sure she won't be able to bury it deep inside her, she'll burst.

Ginny looked confused, "But she wouldn't write it otherwise Dumbledore would stop her newspaper!"

Lily looked in doubt and unsure about Ginnys comment, "Yes but Dumbledore likes to give second chances or even third sometimes, she hasn't done anything wrong yet so he'll probably forgive her. And plus all she wants to do is let it out so she can breathe again and then I bet nothing else interesting in people's private lives will happen.

With that Lilly turned the next page and read the huge bold headline then suddenly looked up,

Hermione and Ginny looked at each other in confusion, "what?" They both said in unison.

"Well I don't know but the headline for one of the stories is The Crazy New Girls From The 'Future'."
