The first thing they heard was their stomachs making weird noises as they began to vomit while the woman stood proud, it was clear it wasn't her first time. Once they were done, they turned to the woman, still a bit shaken and said thanks for all her troubles.

"It's my pleasure, now get home as fast as you can." They turned to look in the distance glaring at the cosy cottages trying to find the Potter cottage. "By the way, we never asked your na..." But Ginny didn't finish her sentence, as she looked back, the woman had already vanished.

"Is it just me, or was all that strange and so was she, helping us and believing our rubbish story!" Ginny explained thinking about the mysterious woman. "Yeah, or maybe she was actually a genuine kind person. Some things are better off not explained." Hermione exclaimed while Ginny shrugged and then remembered the real purpose of being here.

They wandered around the village, checking all the cottages to see anyone inside, until they came to one where someone peeped out of the window and opened the door. It was a old lady with a sunken in face and demon eyes. "What are you doing! You kids go home, go on shoo!" She spoke rudely as they walked away.

"By the way, how are we going to get back?" Hermione asked as Ginny was concentrating on finding the cottage however still heard. Ginny then dived into her pocket to find one of the necklaces Dumbledore forced her to have and Hermione did the same. "Oh I forgot where we put them." Hermione spoke again.

"Should we find Dumbledore again? Or do you think he's had enough of us?" Hermione continued with a chuckle, trying to lighten the mood and also trying to make Ginny chat, as unlike her, Hermione thought of herself to not be living in 'dreamland' and believed it to be impossible to warn the Potters or even stop Voldemort from his murder. Hermione wanted to try once more to make conversation and try to establish a way to get back, as if they manage to stop him, they would want to run for the hills as soon as possible or better, go home.

But unexpectedly, they heard a woman scream, a deadly, frightening, deafening scream. It was coming from a cottage close to them, "that must be it!" Ginny whispered nervously. She couldn't turn back now despite her fears, so she tiptoed to the front door with Hermione behind and with her shaking hands, she creaked the door open.

Only to see the back of Voldemort while Lily was drowning in her own tears in a corner, and James in front of Voldemort standing petrified but trying to appear brave. Then they noticed baby Harry looking innocent in his crib.

Voldemort began to sway his arm up, with his wand he yelled 'Avada Kedavra', and in that moment (which was going extremely slow) Ginny saw something in James, not only Harry but an innocent who she couldn't see die.

As she yelled 'NO' she zoomed forwards and did the only thing she could do at the time, she jumped in front of James, with the spell now directed at her, striking her by only her hand. As she fell flat on the ground (with her face pale and eyes shut) her hand slowly began to open, only to see the time-turner necklace, which caused all this chaos, destroyed.

Hermione couldn't process what was happening, but felt a burning sensation in her pocket, as she reached for the scorching necklace, also destroyed just like Ginny's and before she could think again, dizziness overpowered her, followed with the necklace giving off a blinding beam of light.

She fell on the ground, thinking the whole world to be spinning as her eyes were forced close and the Potter cottage slowly faded into existence, along with Ginny...
