Hermione and Ginny: Travelling Through Time

A Puzzled Lily

"What!" Hermione and Ginny screamed to the top of their lungs, shattering the windows, while Lily playfully smiled not knowing the article was really about them. Hermione abruptly snatched the newspaper and scanned through the article curiously.

'They are lunatics'.  'I know they're new students but that doesn't mean they'd think they were from the future!'

Lily suddenly stood to her feet, "hang on a minute is she talking about you!?" Ginny and Hermione gave Lily a look trying to say 'you just figured that out now'. Hermione massaged her temple continuously with her quivering hands, her mind forced to enter the panic zone.

'How did she know? Was she listening outside the door when we were talking to Dumbledore, I know she like to spread rumours about all sorts, lying about Harry's interview and what he said, making out us two were a couple but I never knew she'd go this deep. Who knows what people will think.'

Lily still stood quietly frustrated about being puzzled of this situation, before she could speak any thoughts she decided that she wanted to hear their story first. "Is anyone going to explain to me!"

Hermione sighed gravely and walked towards Lily not daring to glance up. "It's true, we are from the future."

Lily nearly got thrown backwards by the force of the shock like a punch to the face, her mind went instantly blank and words could not make it out of her mouth. She gulped uncomfortably fearing she was in a room with mental patients.

"Listen. It's complicated so bear with me. There are these necklaces called time turners which make you go back in time and well long story short they brought us back here. And I'm so sure we've now changed the course of time and what happens next because now the whole school knows!"

Hermione frustratedly made her point, blood boiled inside of her alongside the hatred she now had for Rita. 'Because of her everything can be ruined, (some parts is my fault) because of her we may not go back to the same environment we left and because of her we may have destroyed the future.'

Lily stormed out of the room with a mixture of a smirk and a annoyed look on her face, she didn't know what to think and how to act. But one thing she knew for sure was not to believe them, 'yes magic is fortunately real but no  one (unfortunately) has ever mentioned a method to go back in time, also even if it did exist how would two young girls get their hands on it.' She thought deeply.

She believed in her confidence about it being a pack of lies and stood by Rita, meanwhile Ginny and Hermione were still in the chairs in the tedious room, patiently waiting for Lily to return, who never was.

Sorry for the shorter chapter I just figured it'll be better for you to read a shorter chapter then to wait another two days for me to expand it. And plus if I start doing short chapters I may be able to update more but not making any promises because I am not really reliable.
