Chapter 5

After waiting 15 minutes of playing on my phone Billie came out "ready?" He said grabbing the guitar case as I grabbed my bag, offering me his hand to take " yep" I said as we went to his car.

I slid in as he put the guitar in the trunk and then got in starting the engine, I looked out of the window again my brain contemplating on how I was going to learn a song on a guitar in two days to show our director on Monday.

"lex you ok" Billie asked seeing how I was gazing out of the window

"uh yeah just thinking" I said

"about?"

"how I'm going to learn to play one of the most famous songs on a guitar in two days when I can't really play the guitar" I said sighing "the only guitar experience I had was in middle school, that was a long time ago I don't even think I can remember what I was taught then" I said finishing

"I'll teach you how to" Billie said

"oh I couldn't ask you to do that" I replied

"who better to teach you then the person who wrote it" he said

"only if it's not too much trouble" I replied

"not at all beautiful" he replied with a wink which made me blush and him smile It wasn't long before we got to where he wanted to take me which was a little Italian restaurant " wow Billie, this is beautiful but I'm not dressed for a place like this" I said realising I was in a pair of ripped jeans, converse and an athletic T-shirt, my hair was up in a messy ponytail.

"nonsense you look beautiful as always' he winked and grabbed my hand and lead me through the doors

"table for two please" he said to the waiter

"aren't you?" He asked

"yes I am but please a quiet table for two" Billie replied handing the guy some money

"certainly sir please follow me"

We followed him to the back of the restaurant where we got seated "wha can I get you to drink" the waiter asked

Billie looked at me "I'll just have a water please" I replied

"root beer for me thanks" Billie said not taking his eyes of me as we got handed our menus

"y'know you didn't have to do this?" I said to Billie opening up my menu

"I wanted to take a beautiful girl like you out, especially since you've been working so hard"

" it's what I do" I told him with a smile
