Dally's POV

Boarding that plane was the hardest thing I had ever had to do. I was leaving the only girl that I actually loved to go to somewhere I had never been. I reach into my bag and pulled out a blue jean jacket and slipped it around my shoulders. This was going to be a long long flight.

Forever and three days later

Okay, slight exaggeration on the time but still, it felt like forever. Without Rosie, I felt empty. I missed her so much but I knew her dad would never let me anywhere near his daughter again, so there was no turning back now. When I landed, I decided to head on over to the rodeo I would be working at. I walk on down the road and I see two or three Socs jump one greaser. I ran on over there and pulled them off of the greaser and they turned on me.

I'll just say they weren't expecting me to be as good of a fighter that I was.

"You alright, Kid?"I asked helping the boy up.

"Yeah, I'm okay." He said, wiping the blood away from his lip.

"Whats your name?" I asked him.

"Sodapop, Sodapop Curtis." He said extending his hand.

"Dallas, Dallas Winston." I say shaking his firmly.

"You know, you're the first one who didn't ask bout my name." He said grinning.

I shrug.

"So your heading to bucks?" He said, looking up at me.

"I think so." I admit

"C'mon I'll show ya where the rodeo is." He said smiling.
