Dally's POV
We were walking down to Dairy Queen to grab something to eat. I hear someone running, yelling something we can't hear.

"What was that?" Rosie says, looking at me.
"I don't know. Don't wanna know." I say shrugging it off.
She suddenly gets up and runs through the ally. What the heck is wrong with her?! Doesn't she know she could get jumped or...worse. I gulp as that thought entered unwelcome into my brain. I run after her. All I see is her sitting there, tears streaming down her cheeks, near a familiar mop of blond hair. My stomach is in knots. I pray and hope she took my advice and didn't walk alone.

"Emma?" I ask, tears beginning to choke my voice.
Rosie slowly nods.
"No! Em, please wake up, please." I kneel down beside her beaten body.

"Dally-"
"No! I was supposed to protect her!"I sob into her lifeless body. Her blue eyes were glazed over and emotionless. I slowly close her eyes and kiss her forehead.

*flashback*
"Higher, dal, higher!" Emma yelled giggling.
I chuckle and push her higher.
"Dal,I touched a cloud! Look, look!" She squealed in absolute delight.
"Way to go, Em." I say, chuckling.
"Catch me!" She squeals, jumping out of the swing.
"I got ya." I say kissing her forehead.
"Dal?" She asks, looking as serious as she could.
"Yeah, princess?" I say looking at her.
"I'll always be your princess, right?"she asks, looking me in the eye.
I kiss her on the forehead again. "Yes honey, you'll always be my little princess." I say chuckling and holding her closer.

*end flashback

I attempt to stop crying but it's impossible. This was my baby sister, my little princess. I hug her lifeless body close to me. I swear I will find the bastards and personally murder them. For Emma.
