(Part 20)

"Mackenzie Styles? Are you awake dear?" I hear a lady say.

I open my eyes from my sleep.

I see the nurse and Liam towering over me.

"Okay good you're awake. Your brother Harry called. He sent this gentleman here to pick you up. Are you okay with that?"

I nod slowly, still half asleep.

"Great. Well I will give you some time to get ready and wake up a bit. While you and your guest can also chat until you're both ready to leave okay hun?"

I nod again.

She leaves the room as Liam kisses me on the forehead.

"I've been so worried about you. Are you better now?" He asks.

"Physically I'm fine, emotionally I'm bruised," I say honestly.

Liam nods.

"I feel you. So Harry and you, what happened? He had me pick you up and take you to my flat since you two need a break."

I sigh.

"He really said we need a break? Wow. I didn't know I made him feel so bad." I said.

"Feel bad? Did you say anything?"

"He just wouldn't tell me how he really felt and he won't even tell me his secrets. Like a secret is a secret. How could I ever spread anything personal around like his secrets about my brother? It's like he doesn't trust me. With anything really. I love him to death Liam i really do. But, why? Why can't he just open up to me himself? I just want to know that he can trust me with anything he needs to  me with anything. I also want to know that I can trust him."

Liam shivered.

"What's wrong," I question him.

"You want to trust him?" He repeats.

"Yes."

Liam sighs.

"Mackenzie there's something I gotta tell you,"

(Harry's POV)

"Hello?" I say into the phone.

I needed to call Liam. I can't face Mackenzie right now. I want him to pick her up and take her to his house. I hope all goes well. Because I think Niall is there at the moment.

"Hey Harry you okay?" Liam asked.

"Well not exactly. That's why I'm calling. I need you do something for me."

"Alright. What is it?"

"Can you pick up Mackenzie and take her to your place for the night? I just have so much going on and I don't think I can handle her right at the moment."

"Why what's happening by you? You know besides th-"

"Yeah that. Listen, Mackenzie and I just need a break. I don't want to hurt myself or her so please Liam I'm begging you do this one favor for me," I say desperately.

"Yeah. I guess."

"Thank you so much Liam. I owe you."

"Nah. I love Mackenzie. No money on love right?"
