Heatherpaw was now 12 moons and ready to be a full medicine cat. Her sister became a warrior last sunrise along with Sandpaw. They were now Hazelnose and Sandheart. Heatherpaw expected to see Hazelnose in the nursery soon.
Heatherpaw left her clan to go to the moonpool.
"Hello,Heatherpaw. Where is Fawnheart?" Dawnleafs gentle voice sounded. "Fawnheart has died from a badger attack. I was getting us fresh kill and when I arrived to our den she was laying on the ground, barely alive." Heatherpaw muttered. Dawnleaf sighed,"StarClan needs to stop killing our medicine cats." Heatherpaw told the news to Troutwing and the three went to the moonpool.
"I pronuonce you Heathergaze. EarthClans full medicine cat." Fawnheart said. Heathergaze dipped her head to her fallen mentor. "Good luck on those kits." Fawnheart purred. "Good luck in StarClan." Heathergaze smiled.
Heathergaze awoke. "Hi,Heatherpaw! I see you and me are the only ones awake." Troutwing said. "Heathergaze now." She smiled. "Congratulations!" Troutwing purred.
Dawnleaf awoke a bit after the other two. "Congratulations on being a full medicine cat." She smiled at Heathergaze. Heathergaze dipped her head,"Thank you all."
