"Why didn't Finchstar call you?" Heatherpaw asked. "The Medicine Cats have to go to each gathering. So,he doesn't have to call us or the deputy." Fawnheart replied. "To the Gathering!" Finchstar yelled. The cats followed their leader. "Hey Heatherpaw! Are you excited for our first Gathering?" Hazelpaw purred. "Sure am! I can't wait to meet the other Clans!" Heatherpaw grinned. "Hazelpaw!" Sandpaw called for his friend. "Gotta go!" Hazelpaw waved her tail goodbye.

Heatherpaw chuckled,"Have you ever fought any cat?" "I've healed some cats,but I've never fought one. I don't plan on it unless my Clans in a disaster!" Troutpaw purred. "Let the Gathering begin!" Leafstar bellowed. "All is well in SunClan! We have a new liter of kits and one new Warrior,Birdclaw!" Leafstar finished "Birdclaw,Birdclaw!" The Clans chanted. "WaterClan is doing fine we have 2 new apprentices, Fishpaw and Minnowpaw! Dawnfire is expecting kits!" Gingerstar purred. "Minnowpaw! Fishpaw!" "EarthClan is doing amazing! We have Aspentail who is also expecting kits and two new apprentices! Heatherpaw,who is training to be a Medicine Cat and Hazelpaw!" Finchstar said proudly. "Heatherpaw! Hazelpaw!"
"BreezeClan is fine. We have an expecting queen,Beesting." Crowstar said plainly. "WaterClan! Let's go!" Gingerstar yelled. The other leaders called for their clans. "Heatherpaw! Meet me in the abounded twoleg barn at Moon High!" Troutpaw whispered. "O-ok." Heatherpaw said.
'It's not breaking the code! We're only friends!' Heatherpaw tried to convince herself. "Where are you going?" Brackenpelt yawned. "I need to make dirt." Heatherpaw lied. Brackenpelt nodded and let her go.
"Troutpaw!" Heatherpaw hissed. "You came! I didn't think you would!" Troutpaw purred. "How many moons old are you Heatherpaw? I'm 11 moons old." Troutpaw asked. "I'm 7 moons!" Heatherpaw purred. "Not to old for ya, am I?" Troutpaw winked.(If cats can do that lol) Heatherpaws ears went down in embarrassment,"Nope!" "Wait, are you talking about us being mates?!" Heatherpaw panicked. Troutpaw chuckled,"Ok course not! We're medicine cats!" Heatherpaw purred and yawned. "Here I'll make a nest!" Troutpaw started clawing moss. After a few minutes he was finished. The two lay in the nest and slowly fall asleep.
"Troutpaw!" A voice yelled in Troutpaws dream. "Mother? Featherpool?" Troutpaw questioned. "I know of your feelings towards this she cat." Featherpool sighed. "You are both medicine cats and cannot be mates or have kits. Your also in different clans!" Featherpool lectured. "I know! I don't even thinks she feels the same way! I can't help that I like her!" Troutpaw murmered the last part. Featherpool sighed," It's fine my kit." Suddenly he felt a weight on him.
"Wake up lazy!" Heatherpaw purred. "We have to go back!" She urged. "Ok bye!" Troutpaw licked her ear in farewell and left.
