"Wha-It was you?" I asked as my vision started getting blurry due to the tears that has been collecting my eyes.
"Yes, sweetheart. It has been me all this while" He chuckled, sending chills down my spine in a bad way.
I took a deep breath, swallowing the lump in my throat before gathering all the courage that I had left and questioned him with an obvious hint of being terrified in my tone.
