Yo im mad I typed this earlier but it got deleted. So it might be crappy especially compared to what it was..

**NICKI POV**

"Aubrey!" I cried out.

No answer.

"Aubreyyyy!" I cried out louder this time as the tears fell.

The door opened and I looked up.

**Drake POV**

I opened the bedroom door to find Nicki for the 5th time in the past few weeks sitting in tears with Londyn in her arms.

"She's fine Nic" I sighed. Its just her ptsd.

"No she isn't!" she protested.

"Here let me show you." I reached for the baby but Nicki retracted.

"No!"

"Nic just let me hold her."

"No you cant take my baby." she turned away from me.

I decided to give her a minute. Her ptsd usually doesn't last too long. Moments later I heard her humming softly to Londyn.

"Nic?"

"Yeah?"

"You okay?"

"Yeah."

She turned to me and looked up at me with this weird sort of glare, "Can you get me a drink of water?"

"Okay." I said and I walked to the door.

"And umm.."

"Yeah?"

"Can you make her a bottle?"

"Okay." I went downstairs to get the stuff for her. For some reason her demeanor gave me an uneasy feeling.

As I squirted some milk onto my arm to test the temperature I caught a glimpse of Nicki at the front door.

"Nic?" I asked, approaching her as she put the diaper bag down and reached for the baby carseat.

I grabbed both and held them away from her.

"Where are you going?"

"Give those back."

"Not until you tell me where you're going."

She looked away from me.

"Nic this is really starting to piss me off." I stated.

She looked down, "Im sorry."

"Its ok."

She gave me that weird glare again, "Can I have some water?"

I didnt really trust her so I brought the diaper bag and carseat into the kitchen with me.

"Dont wait up" I heard her say. I turned around as the door shut behind her. I ran out after her but she had pulled off by the time I got to the car.

I ran back inside and found my keys and headed towards Thembis.

After finding out Nicki wasn't there my anger boiled over more. I drove to Lauren and Safaree house by the shore and saw her car out front.

I banged on the door.

Lauren answered.

"Where is she?" I scowled.

"I don't think its a good time right now. Can you-"

I cut her off by storming past her and into the house.

"Where is she?"

I heard Londyn cry from upstairs and followed the sound. I found Nicki holding her in an empty room with her back against the wall.

"What the hell is wrong with you?" I demanded.

"What? Drake calm down."

"I'll calm down when you give me my daughter."

"Drake I'm not gonna let you hold her while-" I cut her off by smacking her as hard as I could.

She stumbled to the ground and managed to keep Londyn clutched in her arms.

"Are you crazy?!" She looked up at me, " You could've killed her."

I grabbed her by her neck, "you lucky I dont kill you."

I felt a fist hit my cheek causing me to let go of her.

"I draw the line when you start beating on women. Its bad enough you disrespected my wife." Safaree spat.

I looked up as the police entered the room. I hadn't noticed their sirens until now.

**NICKI POV**

We followed as the police escorted Drake out.

"Wait." I called out. They paused and let me talk to him.

"Aubrey I love you."

"Yeah ok."

"You're my husband and my baby father and I love you."

"I heard you the first time."

I felt like someone had shot me in the heart.

"You don't love me?"

"You let ya friends get me arrested. But you want me to believe you love me?"

"You let yourself get arrested." I informed him.

"Yeah whatever."

"Officer," I wiped my tears, "take him away and put him in jail for as many charges as possible."

After they pulled off I turned to Faree.

"Can you hold Londyn for me?"

"Yeah" He nodded and took her.

"You okay Nic?"Lauren asked.

"Mhmm. I just.. Gotta do something. I have a promise to keep." I said and walked to the shore.

The wind blew softly and the sun was setting. The waves were suddle as the water reflected the rainbow sky.

I looked down at the wedding ring that circled my ring finger.

I want you to take this ring and throw it. Leave me...

It replayed in my mind as I slowly removed the ring.

The tears returned and I fell to my knees in the sand.

"Nika what are you doing?" Lauren's voice drew near.

I looked up at her, "he made me promise that the next time he hurt me, that I would throw the ring and leave him."

"Give me the ring Nika." She knelt beside me.

"Because deep down we both know that you and him will work this out eventually." She continued "and if it doesnt heal by the time he is out of jail. Then I will let you throw it."

"Okay." I handed her the rings and she helped me to my feet.

"Dry your tears, you need to be strong for Londyn." she coaxed.

We walked back to her house with her arm around me and my head laying on her shoulder.
