Londyn POV

I texted Jordan the next morning, simultaneously I received a facetime call from him. I answered it:

"Hey." I put my hair in a ponytail, letting the phone screen stare at the ceiling. I took a glimpse in the mirror to be sure I didn't look like crap.

"Morning." he was obviously just waking up.. as was I.

"How'd you sleep?" I asked, picking my phone up so he could see me now.

"Obviously not as perfect as you did." his jaw dropped.

"I actually like your hair messy better than it was last night." I assured him.

"Thanks?"

"Hey, I told you I don't give compliments out often.. take it or leave it." I joked.

"Do you think our parents would ever let us.. hang out?" he asked.

"I mean, our moms are best friends, we were born on the same day.. I'm sure they anticipated for the three of us be really close anyways." I reasoned. "We did share birthday parties when we were younger."

"And again last night." he added.

"They'd probably prefer it over some random classmates or whatever." I shrugged.

"Yeah true."

"Do you wanna come over my house and hang out today? I can text my mom." I offered.

"Where are you now?"

"Lauren and Safaree's" I answered.

"So, meet at your house?"

"I can pick you up on my way home." I shrugged.

"I guess thats okay too." he bit his lip.

I texted my mom and she responded immediately.

"Mom says its cool." I filled Jordan in.

"Great, I'll text you my address."

"Can't wait."

We talked for a while longer, once we hung up, I took a shower and got dressed. Aunt Lauren was up by then.

"Are you headed home?" she asked, "or staying for breakfast?"

"I was gonna hit the road now and have breakfast at home." I explained.

"Okay," she smiled softly.

She walked me to the door, "Drive safely, keep your eyes on the road, and text me when you get home."

"I will." I giggled at her overprotectiveness.

"And hey." she stopped me from walking out the door, "Never hesitate to call me.. no matter what. And remember, you technically have a room here.. so if you EVER need someplace to crash, whatever the reason, just come here.. no questions asked."

Her voice was soft and slightly raspy, one of her many attributes I'd always admired.

"I'd rather you show up here unannounced than for you to ever feel like you have no where to go." She added.

"Does this include the hypothetical situation of me being super drunk after a party and crashing here so my parents don't kill me?" I teased.

She smirked, "I would hope that day is no time soon. But yes, it includes that HYPOTHETICAL situation."

"But I just know you're getting older, and sometimes you might just need a break from home.. either from your siblings or your parents.. whatever the reason, just know.." she concluded.
