chapter 1: I Promise

Rachel POV

I was walking down the hall after school to glee practice one day. And boom. A slushie is thrown right in my face. My eyes stung so bad. I couldn't even tell who threw it... all I knew was that it hurt.

"HEY! I heard a loud scream.

"HEY IM TALKING TO YOU"

I knew exactly who it was.

I hear a slam against the lockers and I turn around to see what was going on.

"DO YOU DARE LAY A FINGER OR SLUSHIE ON MY GIRLFRIEND EVER AGAIN, DAVID. IM SERIOUS"

My boyfriend Finn yelled to Dave Karosky.

All of the sudden Finn punched him in the face and my best friend Quinn came up to me to help clean off the slushie while, my incredibly hot boyfriend, Finn beat up the glee clubs "main bully". His name was Dave. Dave Karosky. He picked on Kurt last year for being gay and cause Kurt to transfer.

"YOU CAN SLUSHIE ME OR ANYONE ELSE BUT YOU DO NOT HURT MY GIRL."

Dave was on the floor and Finn scared him away. Before any adult could stop the fight or even come to the fight quick enough.

He ran over to me.

"Baby, are you okay?" He said.

"Yeah I'm fine, Finn. But I don't get it? I've been slushied so many times before. Even by Puck. Why did you do that?"

"Because I love you and you don't deserve this crap. I mean I'm tired of him bulling us. He caused my step brother to transfer. But if he is messing with my baby now. He is dead," He said determined.

"Um.. hello? Am I just invisible?" Quinn said.

Quinn and I became really good friends the last year. We put aside that she lied about the father of her baby, that Finn broke up with her to date me, that we both cheated on Finn with his best friend Puck (Noah), so we decided to make peace.

"How could you possibly be invisible? You are the prettiest girl in school," I said.

"Well, second in my opinion," Finn said looking at me.

"Aww I love you!" I said while standing on my tiptoes to reach his lips.

"Wow. Thanks Finn thanks a lot." Quinn said sarcastically.

"Well Quinn come and help me clean up. I have extra clothes in my locker in case of an emergency. Save me a sit in the choir room, Finn?"

"Of course!" He said. "And Rachel, I want you to know that I promise to protect you no matter what it costs me."

He kissed me on the forehead and walked to the choir room while me and Quinn walked the other direction.

Quinn and I finished clean me up so we headed to the choir room.

"This skirt got really tight and, well, shorter." I said.

"Well, when was the last time you switched out your 'emergency clothes'?

"I guess last year. Crap. Well, at least Finn will enjoy it!" We laughed while walking in to the choir room.

I immediately looked at Finn, and as soon as he looked at me his jaw hit the floor.

"Holy smokin'," Puck said.

"Puck shut up!" Finn exclaimed "The only one getting her is me."

"Okay look I'm sorry I just kinda grew out of my 'emergency clothes'."

"Okay well then Quinn, Rachel, take your seat." Mr. Shue said.

I walked right over to Finn and sat down.
