Chapter 12: Daddy's girl

Rachel's POV

"Okay let's change you...yeah," I said to Charlotte.

"Hey babe. Just coming to say bye and that I'll miss you today," Finn said wrapping his hands around my waist.

"Aw I'll miss you too, but you might wanna go before I take off her diaper it smells like... awful!" I said.

"I'm out of here," Finn left quickly.

Finn's POV

I walked into school and saw people starring. Also a lot of people were asking questions. Oh school how I've missed it.

"Hey Finn," a cheerleader said winking at me.

"Um.. hi?" I said confused.

"Look I've heard about you having a baby with that loser Rachel, and I know you don't want it or her so what do you say? Us, Breadstix? 9:00?" She said.

"Um... no. We normally go to bed around 8:00 and besides I love Rachel and MY baby girl so I'm good, but thanks for the offer." I said walking away.

Before I could get away fast enough she kissed me on the lips. KISSED ME. I peeled he very chapped lips off of me. However, Jacob got a picture before I did.

"GET OFF OF ME," I said to her. "I HAVE A FAMILY AND YOU CANT DO THAT!"

She looked at me and walked away.

Rachel's POV

"Hey babe! I'm home," Finn said walking in the door.

I didn't say anything. I was just sobbing on the couch.

"Hey what's wrong?" He said trying to comfort me.

"FINN DONT," I stood up out of his hands. "I know about your little kiss with the cheerleader. Jacob sent me the picture."

"Rachel she kissed me! I peeled her body off of me and walked away. He just happened to TAKE A PICTURE DURING THE KISS!" Finn yelled.

Charlotte began to cry.

"Great she's awake," I said glaring at Finn.

"Rachel wait. Let me get her," Finn said.

"Go ahead." I said.

"Rachel come here," Finn called me in.

"What?" I said kinda pissed.

"Rachel look at our baby. We, Me and you, made this person. You think I would risk all of that for a kiss with some girl that I don't even know the name of?" Finn said.

"She is pretty perfect isn't she?" I said looking at the baby.

"I'm sorry," Finn said.

"No I'm sorry I shouldn't have been so protective," I said.

"So we're okay?"

"Yeah we're okay," I said.

"Oh crap," Finn said.

"What?" I said laughing.

"She just pooped..." he said looking forward.

"Nope this is ALL yours!" I said while running out the door.

"You're a BITC..." Finn was about to say jokily, but he didn't finish his sentence.

After about 20 minutes Finn came out of the nursery.

"How was it?" I said sitting on the couch reading a magazine.

"I don't think I can ever get that image out of my mind," he said looking traumatized.

"Okay Finn come here. We have to talk seriously. Our money issue. Luckily your parents payed for the appointments and the hospital visit, and our apartment is payed off, but electric bills and water bills food and baby stuff what are we gonna do? I have quite a bit of money in my savings that we can use, but one of us needs to get a job." I said.

"Well I can work at Sheets n Things again? For now." Finn said.

"I love you," I said looking at Finn.

"Anything for you baby," he said and he kissed me.

"Once Charlotte gets to about 3 months I can probably start doing something soon." I said. "And Finn, after this school year we are going to New York and I need to work on getting to Broadway. That should be able to cover us all together, but while I'm doing that you're going to have to do something."

"Like what?" Finn said.

"Well Santana wants to come to New York with me, you, Kurt, and Charlotte. I thought while Kurt and I are at NAYDA you and Santana could give music lessons?"

"Oh my goodness Rachel! That's perfect! I Love you..." He said.

"I love you too!"

Charlotte began to cry again.

"Is it just me or every time we relax Charlotte begins to cry?" Finn said laughing.

"Believe me... it's not just you!" I got up to get her and came out and sat down to Finn now playing video games.

"Ugh I've missed my video games!" Finn said keeping his eyes on the screen.

"Well someone missed there daddy.." I said talking about Charlotte.

I lied Charlotte on Finn's chest as he was playing video games. It was SOO precious I had to take a picture, and I sent it to everyone in the glee club as well as my parents.

About 2 minutes later I got a bunch of replies. So I put it on Facebook.

Finn's POV

I walked in to school the next day and survived. I couldn't wait to get to glee.

"Hey Mr. Dad," Quinn said. "Long night?"

"More like long 2 weeks! She says wants to be in our arms! Rachel has being doing school at home which is good, but I still have to come because they wouldn't let me take school at home. So hearing Charlotte cry at 2:00 am doesn't help me sleep."

"I'm sorry," Quinn said while rubbing my back.

"Quinn..." Puck said.

Her and Puck seemed to work things out and they were back together.

She took her hand off of my back and grabbed Pucks.

I think I was dozing off because Mr. Schue kept calling my name.

"Finn... Finn?" he shook me.

"What? Huh? I'm sorry. Charlotte cries all night and I never get enough sleep," I said.

"Yeah I understand... how bout you go home and do your homework and get some rest okay?"

"Okay. Thanks Mr. Schue."

I walked out the door and left.
