Chapter 9: Terrifying Times and Regionals

"Oh my gosh Finn!" I said shocked. "Yes! Yes I will marry you!"

He put the ring on and kissed me.

"She said yes! She said yes!"

The whole glee club came to where me and Finn were eating.

It was perfect.

-End of February early March-

Rachel's POV

Ugh I was miserable. I'm 36 weeks pregnant and it's AWFUL. My back hurts, I have to pee all the time, and on top of that I still have to go to school.

"Hey baby, how you feeling?" Finn said while leaning over to my side of the bed to cuddle.

The cuddle didn't last very long.

"Fine except for my ba-" I was about to finish, but I got up and ran to the bathroom.

Finn chased after me and I was throwing up.

"Geez you would think the sickness would die down towards the end of pregnancy," I said laughing.

"Are you okay baby?" Finn said.

"Yeah. Let's get ready for school."

Finn and I got to school and like always people were staring. Finn just took my hand and we walked down the hall.

We survived school and thankfully it was time for glee.

"Okay class let's think of songs for..." Mr. Shue started.

I looked down and saw blood coming from my shorts.

"Oh my gosh!" I yelled.

"What? Are you okay?" Finn asked.

"I'm bleeding!"

Finn looked down and saw the blood.

"Okay let's get you to a hospital." Mr. Shue said.

We drove to the hospital and I got in an immediate room.

Finn was holding my hand and he hugged me. I was balling.

"Hello Rachel." Dr. Taylor said.

"Is, Is she okay?" I said shaky.

"Yes your baby is just fine. You see you were bleeding, but your cervix was closed so it didn't affect the baby."  She said.

"Thank goodness!"

She started talking about what caused the bleeding, but I didn't care. As long as she was safe.

Finn went out and told the glee club that I was fine and so was the baby. While Finn was out in the waiting room telling everyone Dr. Taylor wanted to talk to me.

"Okay Rachel. I know how scared you must've been. However, the bleeding was caused with stress also. So now you are on bed rest officially and that means no more school. You can talk to your teachers about online classes, and, yes you can walk the stage to graduate."

"Okay. Thank you!"

Finn and I went to home, and tomorrow we were going to talk to my teachers about school at home tomorrow .

"That was scary." Finn said.

"I know, but at least our angle is okay." I said and we both fell asleep.

It was now morning and Finn and I went to school to talk to my teachers. They said I could do their classes from home and I would be allowed to graduate with everyone.

I was so relived. Finn drove me home and he went back up to school.

I didn't know what I was going to do about regionals. So I called Dr. Taylor and she said I could sing as long as I was not dancing. I texted Finn so he could tell Mr. Shue.

Finn's POV

I was sitting in glee club missing Rachel like crazy and all of the sudden my phone buzzed. It was a text from Rachel.

"Finn, tell Mr. Shue I can solo at regionals as long as I'm not dancing. miss you! xoxo -R"

"Mr Shue!" I said. "Rachel texted me and said she talked to her doctor and said she can preform at regionals as long as she's not dancing."

"Yay! That's great!"

Rachel's POV

I was just expecting Finn, but I saw the WHOLE glee club walking in my room.

"Oh hi guys!" I said.

"We are here because you need to practice your solo for Saturday!" Tina said

"Are you serious? I get to solo??" I said.

"Yep!" Quinn said excitedly.

-Saturday-

"Are you nervous?" Finn asked me.

"Not at all. Just hope that the baby doesn't make her appearance into the world yet. I'm 37 weeks today and she's dropped."

"Don't worry. You two will be great."

"Lady's and Gentlemen... The New Directions!" The announcer said as I walked on stage.

The audience clapped and I went behind stage and hugged Finn. I sat down as I watched the rest of the group do their numbers.

Please give ideas!! I want Rachel to have her baby pretty soon so the rest of the chapters can be the parents adjusting to life and moving and what not.
