Chapter 8: The Holidays

Rachel's POV

I'm so excited that Finn is moved in with me now! It's beginning to feel a lot more real! Luckily now I don't have to see the doctor as often so that's good. But it was Christmas time and Finn and I were counting down the days until little miss Charlotte or Maya (we narrowed it down to those two names) was going to be here!

Also school was on winter break so I could get a lot more sleep. My back is killing me and the baby doesn't stop moving! It's awful!

"Hey Rachel Bear," Finn said while trying to make me breakfast. "How does it feel to be 20 ahhh"

"25 weeks Finn... I'm 25 weeks pregnant."

"Yeah that how does it feel?"

"It sucks! I'm just glad I'm over half way done... this is getting miserable."

Last time I went to the doctors and I got a due date. The baby's due date was March 24th so Finn's math was very wrong. He said that I would still be pregnant when we graduate in May! Oh how I love him. So again we were counting down the days and right now it was December 18th.

"Well you and Quinn are going shopping today!" Finn said.

"Really? But my back is killing me!"

"Take some Advil and go shop or go to her house and watch a movie! You have to get out of the house, Rach."

"Okay lemme go get ready."

About 10 minutes later I came down stairs kissed Finn and headed to Quinn's. What was that boy up to?

Finn's POV

I had to get Rachel out of the house today because all the glee kids, besides Quinn, were coming and helping me throw Rachel a surprise baby shower! Her dads are in South Carolina now on a business trip, but they will be back before Christmas, we hope.

At about 11:00 I heard a knock at the fore and the glee kids were starting to arrive. We spent quiet a while decorating and wrapping gifts and such. So I texted Quinn and told her to come home.

Rachel's POV

"Okay so this is the part when..."

Quinn interrupted me.

"Hey can we go to your house? My mom and some guy have to discuss something about her job and I don't want to bug her."

"Yeah that's fine...Let's go."

Finn POV

My phone buzzed. It was a texted message.

"Rachel and I are on your way" -Q

Okay everyone places! We all hid and we heard someone walk in.

"Finn?" I heard Rachel yell.

About 10 seconds later we all jumped out and yelled surprise!

Rachel's POV

"Oh my! Finn did you plan this?"

"Guilty as charge!" He said kissing me on the head.

We spent hours talking and opening gifts. We got pjs, outfits, blankets, and so much more for the baby! Wow I have the best friends!

After about 3 hours of fun they all went home, and Finn and I cleaned up.

"Here let me do this," Finn said taking the garbage bag from my hand.

"Thank you," I said falling on to the couch.

-CHRISTMAS DAY-

The Hudson, Hummels, and the Berrys all spent Christmas together. We opened gifts and had amazing breakfast and dinner.

From my parents I got a car seat, clothes, diapers, crib lining, and much more. I think everything I got was for the baby.

Finn got gifts too, but the only thing I could remember is a high chair and bottles. Also his dad got him a gag gift. He got him condoms and a note was stuck to it. He never read it out loud and it must've gotten thrown away so I didn't know what it said.

After a while a opening gifts we all had a good dinner. Finn said bye to his family and we headed to bed quiet early. We were tired!

-NEW YEARS-

It was New Year's Eve and The whole glee club was at my house waiting for the ball to drop.

60,59,58,57... 5,4,3,2,1

"HAPPY NEW YEAR!!" Everyone screamed.

Finn and I kiss each other for quiet a while.

Finn looked at me a said, "This year our baby will be born."

I looked right back at him and said, "Can't wait."

-Valentines Day-

Finn POV

It was now Valentine's Day and Since Rachel is pregnant her and I can't do anything because she told me it can cause 'early labor'. So I'm going to surprise her.

Rachel POV

Finn and I were mad that we couldn't be 'getting it on' this Valentine's Day. But he said that's not going to stop him.

After glee he drove us home. We walked inside and I found a note.

"Rachel, it's Valentine's Day. So your father and I are spending it far away from you guys. Have fun;) But not too much fun!

Love,
         Dads"

I turned around to tell Finn but he wasn't there... I sat on the couch and sat by the fireplace. The baby makes me get the chills.

All the sudden Finn came walking down stairs in a tux.

"Excuse me, Ms. Berry?"

"Oh my gosh!" I laughed.

"Would you come up stairs and look in your room for your surprise?"

I walked upstairs and I saw a dress. Also a note was attached to the dress it read, "Rachel, happy Valentine's Day! So you'll get the rest of your gift at the end. However, follow the instructions first. xoxo, Finn"

I put on the dress and read the first clue.

"Go where we sing and share. You will find clue number 2 there..."

I knew exactly where it was.

I drove to school and went into the auditorium, and I saw Mercedes.

"Um hi Mercedes..."

She handed me a flower and clue number 2

I went to 11 more places and each time I got another flower until I had all 12.

I saw Finn and a romantic dinner was set up.

"Hello Ms. Berry. Nice to see you again."

He showed me my seat.

We talked and kissed.

Finn moved to my side of the table.

"Rachel, I love you with all of my heart, and we are bringing this bundle of joy into the world. I would like you to be with me for the rest of your life so, Rachel Berry will you marry me?

Aww a cliffhanger! So this chapter was all the holidays! Next chapter Rachel will be 36 weeks pregnant and Finn and her will be preparing! Please vote and comment!
