Hi guys I'm back with an update. I'm sorry for the delay. Happy reading.

Kia's POV:
True to his word he picked me up at 6:00. I was wearing a skirt and a blouse. I didn't want to try too hard, i hardly knew the guy. He took me to a small restaurant. It wasn't very crowded so thus dinner was peaceful. We placed our orders and while we waited for our order we tried getting to know each other better.

Andrew:" You look really beautiful Kia."

Kia:" Thank you so much Andrew. You look good yourself." He was wearing a navy blue button down shirt and pants.

Andrew:" Thank you. So Kia tell me something about yourself."

Kia:" What do you want to know about me?"

Andrew:" Tell me something about you and your family."

Kia:" Well, i have an elder sister Stacy. She is currently in college. My dad is a hotel manager and my mum is a social worker."

Andrew:" Wow!" He looked amazed.

Kia:" Now your turn." I said blushing a little.

Andrew:" My dad is in the army and my mum stays at home to take care of me. She used to be a teacher before i was born. I'm the only child to them."

Kia:" Woah! That's impressive. What did your mum teach?"

Andrew:" She used to teach at a play school. She loves kids so before she had her own she used to be with them."

Kia:" That is so sweet! Before you moved here, where did you stay?"

Andrew:" We used to stay in Cincinnati."

Kia:" That's a beautiful isn't it?"

Andrew:" Very! Have you been there?"

Kia:" Nah. I've just read about it. So how are you finding Charleston?"

Andrew:" It's very different from the city life. This is much more calm and people here know each other better almost like a family."

Kia:" That's true. It's a small place so...Do you have to move a lot because of your dad's job?"

Andrew:" Well we had to move to 4 different places and I'm hoping we don't have to move from here too. I'm really starting to like the people here." He said giving me a wink.

I didn't know what to reply and to my relief our food arrived just in time. He told me about all the places he has been to and what all he likes here. I told him about the places he can visit here and more about the town in general. When we were done he paid the bill and when I objected he said, "It's our first date, let it go please." He wouldn't budge so i let it go.

He dropped me back home and drove away once i was safely inside. When i was all ready to finally call it a night, my phone beeped signalling a message. I got up and checked my phone. Instantly a smile crept onto my face.

Andrew "Hey Kia, i had a lovely time with you. You are a beautiful person, we should hang out more often. Thank you for tonight."

Kia: "Hey Andrew, i had a great time too. Yeah we should, i would love to get to know more about you. Thank you for letting me have an amazing time."

Andrew: "See you tomorrow. Goodnight."

Kia: "Goodnight. xx"

That night i slept peacefully and after very long happily.

The next morning as i got ready for school i got a message from Andrew. " Good morning, have a nice day beautiful."
I decided not to reply and just directly meet him at school. I left early for school because i knew Andrew would be there as he plays basketball in the mornings. ( picture of the court attached along. )

Soon i was pulling in the parking lot of the school. The school was nearly empty with few students scattered here and there. As i reached the court i immediately spotted Andrew but.......he was shirtless. Boy!! He was hot. I was brought back to reality when i saw him smirking at me. Oh no, he caught me! I looked down embarrassed to meet his eye. I felt a hand on my chin and i looked up to see his eyes. This time they were much closer.

Andrew:" Hey there!"

Kia:" Hi. Good morning." I said shyly.

Andrew:" Looks like someone finally found time to wish me good morning."

Kia:" Well about that...i thought you would like a face-to-face morning greeting better."

Andrew: " Definitely. What do you want to do? Would you like to see me practice or you have some other plans? "

Kia: " I would definitely like to see you play but it would be a better view if we are competitors." Shit!! What did i do? It was something i never told anyone.

This time it was his turn to get shocked.
Andrew: " I didn't know you play basketball too, sorry. "

Kia: " It's completely alright, actually apart from Susan no one knows. "

Andrew: " Kia you amaze me."

Kia: " Thank you. But let me tell you beforehand, i am not good at it. I just like playing thats it. "

Andrew: " It's just you and me, Kia and we are friends right? "

Kia: " Right, but would you mind putting on a shirt first?" He just gave me a mischievous smile but put on his shirt.

We started playing him versus me. He was on the team so he was definitely better with his techniques but since he did not expect my moves I managed to give him a competition. It's been a couple of months since i played basketball, so this felt good like really good. He won the match by two points. I still felt proud of myself.

We were too exhausted and were sweating too much. He lay down beside me. We just lay there trying to catch our breaths. We both were talking about how fun that was. All of a sudden he said:

Andrew: " Kia you play really well. Why do you feel that you don't? "

Kia: " Andrew frankly speaking I have never played basketball with anyone else before. I just play it sometimes when I'm alone. "

Andrew: " You are blessed with such a wonderful talent, i truly feel you should use it."

Kia: " Can we please not talk about this right now. Please."

He smiled in understanding and let go of it. We just stayed like that, enjoying the morning breeze and trying to dry ourselves before we could go to class.
