Hey guys i'm back with an update. Hope you like it. Happy reading!

Kia's POV:

After our dinner-date and the round of basketball Andrew and i became good friends. Unlike cliches we didn't start liking each other all of a sudden.  To be honest, i wasn't sure if i could afford anything more than that at the moment. We had three classes together: Maths, History and Biology. We sat two benches apart in all classes. He would smile at me whenever he walked into class followed by a small wave. I would return the same. He would make it a point to strike a conversation at least once in school everyday and i made it a point to text him whenever i could.

A few days later:

  The school had just ended. I met up with Susan near my locker.

Susan:" Hey babe!"

Kia:" Hey boo!"

Susan:" How was class? Did you miss me?" She asked a little dramatically.

Kia:" Class was no fun without you. I missed you." I replied wiping away imaginary tears.

Susan:" Okay okay drama queen, ready to go?" She said giggling.

Kia: "Su, i have to go to the library, you should go."

Susan:" And leave you alone here? How will you get back?" Always the concerned one.

Kia:" I'll manage. I'll take the bus."

Susan: "You sure? I can come with you if you want. I'll wait till you finish."

Kia:"I wouldn't let you do that. You hate the library. It's okay i'll be fine."

Susan:" Okay. But text me if you need anything. Be safe." She said giving me a hug.

After hugging her back and reassuring her for a dozen more times i made my way to the library.

After looking through the various book shelves i picked up the books i'll be needing and checked them out. Before i could leave my eyes wandered to one of the tables where a boy was bent over his book. By the looks of it he was stuck with whatever he was trying. I also noticed our Maths textbook. Even though i couldn't see who it was, i still made my way to the table deciding to offer to help.

I placed my hand on the guy's shoulder, "Hey can i..." I stopped mid sentence when i saw who it was. Immediately a smile spread on my face. I couldn't help it because of the person sitting there and also because this person had a pair of glasses on.

"Hey beautiful!" Andrew said returning my smile.

"Hey buddy." I said taking a seat beside him.

Andrew:" What are you doing here?"

Kia:" I had to borrow few books. What about you? What has got you all bothered?"

Andrew:" It's this sum which i'm unable to solve." He said a little shyly.

Kia:" Show me, let me try."

Andrew:" Here, i solved it till this step. I'm unable to proceed further." He said pointing towards his notebook. I read through the question and within a few seconds got how to do it and solved it down before handing him his book back.

Kia:" There you go. I put an end to your misery."

He quickly scanned the sum and looked at me with his mouth open.

Andrew:" How did you solve it so fast?"

Kia:" I don't know. I just like Maths." I replied laughing a little.
