(Time skip to a little while after those three idio- I mean fabulous people!- arrive at the party)

~Vincent's POV~

I sat at a table next to Mike, laughing and drinking. I'm not much of a drinker but, eh, I can make an exception for tonight.

It was all just fun and games, talk and chatter, until I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around, only to come face-to-face with that one man I feared so much.

He grinned like the psychopath he was, his grey eyes meeting mine. "Vincent, kid, where've ya been all these years?"

Mike looked up. "Um, Vincent...?"

"Just... Excuse me for a moment." I muttered, getting to my feet.

I led him a good while away from my two friends and then turned to face him.

"What do you want?" I growled coldly. He just chuckled.

"Vincent, Vincent, Vincent..." He said, snickering. He put a finger to my chin and lifted it up. He was just making me uncomfortable and terrified pretty much, but I tried my best not to show it.

"I don't want anything... Can't we just be pals, like old times?"

"No, we can't." I snapped. He frowned.

"C'mon, Vin. Trust me, I'm not like that anymore-"

"Trust you!?" I spat. "You expect me to trust you!? After all you've done to me!? Really!?"

"Vincent, listen, please!" He said. "I've did a lot of bad things, but I'm sorry. I really am." He really sounded sorry to be honest. But if there was one thing I knew it was that he could lie really well and fake pretty much anything. If he wasn't able to do those two things, then I wouldn't be standing here having this conversation right now.

"I don't care. I don't believe anything that you say anymore, and I never will." I growled, my voice cracking. I turned away and started walking.

"Vincent! C'mon, kid!" He said, grabbing me by my wrist. I pulled my wrist away from him.

"Wether you believe it or not, I'm not a 'kid.' And you probably think I'm your puppet, too. Well, guess what!?" I said, chuckling in a maniacal tone. "This puppet is snapping his strings, because you know what!? I'm done with you."

His jaw hung open for a moment, but then he clenched it tight.

"W-Well, then, Vincent..." He growled through gritted teeth, "I guess I'm done with you, too!"

"Good!" I growled, then stormed away before he could do anything else.

I walked back over to my seat next to my friends and snatched up my drink. I drank it, and I drank a lot of it, right at that moment. I couldn't think straight and all I wanted was to drown myself in alcohol and forget all about every bad thing that man had done to me.

Then everything went black.
