~Your POV~

The next morning, you woke up and got dressed and whatnot, as usual, but when you went to wake up Vincent, you found him missing. So was Ali, but her things were still there. You panicked.

Stressed out, you pulled out your phone and dialed Mike's number. He picked up.

"What is it, (Y/N)?" He mumbled, yawning afterwards.

"Sorry if I woke you up, but have you seen or heard from Vincent or Ali?"

"Why? She tried something again, didn't she?"

"N-No." You muttered, denying it. "She wouldn't. She said-"

"Look, it doesn't matter what she said. There's something called lying, (Y/N)." Mike growled. "I told you she would try something, but you wouldn't lis-"

"Mike, this isn't exactly the right time for this!" You growled in a frustrated tone.

"Okay, okay! I got Scott and Jeremy with me, so... Why don't you come over and we can try and figure out what happened?"

"O-Okay." You stuttered, then hung up.

You groaned as you walked into another room to find your car keys.

~Vincent's POV~

I slowly regained consciousness.

"Agh... What happened...?" I breathed. I glanced around the dark room.

As I became more aware of my surroundings, I realized I'd been bound to a chair.

Oh no.

I heard footsteps and panicked, breathing heavily.

"Vincent, dear, you seem a little... Tied up... Heh.."

"You." I growled coldly, recognizing the voice.

"Oh, yes, it's me."

I began struggling to get free, but to my disappointment it did nothing more but scoot the chair about an inch.

More footsteps.

"W-Why are you doing this to me...!?" I breathed. He chuckled. I felt his breath on the back of my neck as he replied with, "Well, Vincent, let's put it this way: You chose your own path. You followed me. You helped me. You were, in a way, just a... Puppet. But then you crossed me, Vincent. And once the puppet crosses the puppeteer..." He chuckled before finishing with, "The puppeteer throws the puppet away."

Then I felt a sharp pain as he raked a knife down my back. I gritted my teeth, and he laughed, clearly enjoying my pain.

My eyes got a teeny bit wider as a female's voice joined in, laughing along with him, but clearly not enjoying it as much as he was.
