((Caution: friendship ahead))
~Your POV~
You looked over at Ali, and suddenly gasped as you remembered she was wanted by the police.
She clambered to her feet, and then apparently she heard the sirens, too, because she suddenly became stiff.
"(Y-Y/N)..." She stuttered.
You looked over at Vincent, who stared back at you and nodded. He slammed his foot down on the man's back and then looked down at him and grinned.
You sighed and grabbed Ali's wrist before pulling her down the long hallway and around the corner. She didn't seem to have a problem keeping up with you.
You looked around and spotted a door, then pulled it open. You gagged as a bit of dust flowed out, but then smiled as you realized it was a decent hiding place.
You pulled her in and shut the door. You sat down on the floor, your hand on the doorknob. She sat down on the floor beside you.
You turned to look at her, and honestly she looked absolutely terrified. Her eyes were wide in panic and she was breathing heavily. She looked over at you, and you just looked at her, pitying her.
"(Y-Y/N)... I-I don't want to go back there..." She choked out. "It was dark and cold and it felt like everyone else was laughing at me, even if I couldn't hear them..."
You sighed and stroked her hair as she buried her face in your shoulder. You'd never seen her like this before. At least, you didn't remember ever seeing her like this.
"Shhh..." You whispered, ruffling her hair and smiling weakly. She looked up at you as you whispered, "It's okay... I won't let them hurt you..."
She sniffled and hugged you.
"You're the best, (Y/N)... I-I'm sorry I ever tried to hurt you, and-"
"Ali, it's okay... We've already went through this..."
She didn't say anything after that. She just pulled away from you and stared up at the door as if she expected to burst open at any moment, revealing police officers with handcuffs just for her. You just sighed, and after that the room fell silent.

***~???'s POV~
"...Anything you say can and will be held against you." I heard the officer add as I felt the handcuffs slide around my wrists and lock.
"Please! You've got it all wrong!" I yelped. "I'm innocent!!"
"Tell it to the judge." The officer muttered, dragging me toward the door.
I scowled as he pulled me out the door, but before he could shut it, I looked up and locked eyes with Vincent.
"Vincent, I swear I'll come back for you! And when I do, you'll be praying for mercy at my knees! Mark my words, Vincent. Mark. My. Words..."
