midnight ain't no time for laughing when you say goodbye

//Taylor's POV//

Once the clock struck midnight I slipped on a black hoodie, grabbed my hoodie and jumped out the window.

I don't why Jenna wanted to see me, but I knew it was important.

I walked down the street to the bridge Jenna had asked me to meet her at.

//Jenna's POV//

"Are you sure you wanna do this?" Ben asked. He was sitting on my bed while I slipped on my black vans. "Yeah" I said," I have to tell her" I said. "Good luck" Ben said.

"Thanks I'm going to need it, tonight will define eve-" I started out but was interrupted by Parker.

"What are you guys planning?" He asked. "We're doing a cover" Ben said quickly. "Yes" I agreed. "Oh okay" Parker said and sat on the bed. "Well I gotta go"Ben said and stood up," good luck" he whispered before walking out.

"Where are you going?" Parker asked. "No where" I said," just going to bed" I said nervously. "Now I don't wanna be rude but I wanna go to sleep so I'll see you tomorrow" I said. "All right, I'll see you tomorrow" Parker said but I knew he was doubting me.

As soon as Parker left I turned off the lights and jumped out the window.

//Parker's POV//

I decided to follow Jenna, she was hiding something. I wanted to make sure she was okay, and I wanted to know what was going on.

She walked down the street towards the old Wills bridge.

I hid behind the stone statue of a chief native American and watched her meet up with another person. That other person was Taylor. These two went from hating each other to having secret meetings at midnight.

I saw them start talking but from where I was I couldn't hear what they were saying.

//Jenna's POV//

"Okay so why are we here?" Taylor asked.

Okay Jenna this is it, just go for it.

"I thought I could forget about that kiss, but I can't. I l-like you Taylor" I said quietly. I looked at her and saw her blank expression.
This was a bad idea.

"I like you too" Taylor said. My eyes lit up when she said those words. "Seriously?" I asked. "Yes" Taylor said and smiled. I stepped closer but Parker walked out.

Whats up with this guy walking out at the wrong moments!

"What are you guys doing?" Parker asked. "Did you follow me?" I asked. "Answer me" he said sternly. "I told her to meet me here" I said. "Why?" Parker asked.

"Because I like you" Taylor said.

What? She just said she liked me! And now she likes Parker? Was this seriously happening???

"You do?" Parker asked. "Yes" Taylor said. "I'll let you guys talk," I said quietly and walked off.

She got scared. That's what happened, she freaked out and Parker was her way out.

I can't believe that had just happened.
