Keyshia POV
"Babe you ready?" Ray asked as Keyshia put on her black Michael Kors sunglasses on.
"Yeah." My 22" weave was curled. My black dress fitted just right it stopped just below my knees. On my feet i had black red bottoms.
Ray had on his suit and tie all black to match me. We had came back to New York to attend my friend/brother funeral.
We got into the car and drove to the church.
"You good bae?" Ray asked
"Yes..." Keyshia said looking out the window.
Finally they arrived at the church. Keyshia sat in the car. Ray got out and walked over to Keyshia side of the car. When he opened the door keyshia sat there for a little min then got out. As she walked up to the opened church doors she could see more and more people coming in.
"Keyshia you made it." Lou little brother said.
"Yea wassup. How you been?" Keyshia said putting on a fake smile. She hadn't cried since Lou passed away. It all didn't feel real to her. It was like a bad dream and she just hadn't woken up from it yet. Something wasn't right and she wanted to know who killed her brother. Although he wasn't her real blood brother, it felt like it. He never treated Key any type of way. He never put his hands on her. He never tried anything with her. Every time they seen each other it was all smiles and laughter.
"I'm good.... you ready to say bye to bro?" Lou brother said to her.
"No not at all. Lou anit never gone to me. Imma find out who did this too. Just watch." Keyshia said as she walked down the aile with her boyfriend and Lou brother. She stopped once she got to Lou open casket. She looked at his face and just stood there.
"Key you iight?" Ray asked. But she just stood there. Looking at her brother her close friend. Someone that a lot of people loved no matter how hard they tried to hide it. Keyshia breathing got heavy and she could feel the tears start to come down. Her anxiety hitting her at the same time Keyshia realize her brother was gone. Ray walked Keyshia to the closest bench. He held her as she cried.

Ray POV
I never seen Key cry this much ever. I know she got anxiety too so I try to keep her as calm as possible. She cried the whole time at the funeral. She stopped a little until she saw him get put six feet under. Even when we got home she still cried. I called her job and the law firm, told them Keyshia brother passed. Both gave her time off paid because she the best worker. I just didn't know what to do anymore. Every time I looked at her I felt bad. Her eyes was always red and puffy. Her hair was always in a ponytail. She wore sweats all the time (not that I mind). Her voice was low and cracked when she wasn't shaking her head yes or no. She started smoking a little more then usually. The weed helped her sleep. I just didn't know what to do. So I did what I had to do. Which was be there for her when she really needed me to the most.
