Here's that oneshot I said I'd write a while back
This is my first try at something like this so... Yeah.

Arthur had been simply walking the halls of the home both he and Queen had shared. He had been simply walking by her door. She hadn't come out of her room for a while now, and naturally, he decided to check to see if she was okay. Gently knocking on her door a few times he asked "is everything alright, love" a small "yes" was the only reply. He immediately knew she was lying."Are you sure...?"
"Yes"

Next day, Queen still hadn't come out yet. Arthur's nervousness increased with every moment Queen was in her room. "I'm sure she's fine!" Said a girl. She had pure orange hair, and fox ears on top of her head, and a fox tail too. No one really questioned this. Her emerald eyes shown in the sun, one eye covered a little by her hair sweep, that ended with a small, swirly curl. Arthur sighed.
"Are you positive Sam..."
"Yeah"
He started to pace the room. The girl, Sam, sighed. "Your over reacting." Arthur sighed, one more. "But what could have made her like this that's what I wanna know..."

It was the next day, and the girl from before wasn't there. But Queen still hasn't gotten out of her room. Arthur walked past her room again. Stopping briefly for a moment to check on Queen. As he raised his hand to knock, he heard mumbling on the other side. Arthur's breath caught in his throat, shortly after he placed his ear on one side of the door. Still some inaudible mumbling.
Arthur pulled his head back. Only one thought was on his mind.
What happened?
~*~
It's been a forth day since Queen locked herself in her room. The girl from before was there, sitting at one end of a table, Arthur at the other. Not a word was spoken. None. The only sound in the entire house was the ticking of a nearby clock. Finally, the fox girl same spoke up. "You know, if you want to see Queen, I won't stop you-" she never got to finish her sentence, as Arthur had stop up as soon as she said that.

Knock knock knock"Queen, mind if I come in love?"
"Yes. A lot."
"..."
"I know your still there, Arthur"
"I won't leave until you let me in"
"Then you'll be there for awhile"

Arthur was still at queens door, at around night fall. The girl, Sam has left already (not without raiding the tea cupboard). There wasn't a sound made from the two since the brief conversation. The entire home was still. No movement. No sound. Just Arthur, waiting, his eyelids drooping. Suddenly, inside queens room, there was rustling. Arthur heard the creak of a door. It swung open, and leaning at the door frame, was the brunette lady, her glasses perched on her nose. "Get in"

Argue sat on one end of queens bed, the owner of it sitting on the other. There, she spoke of what happened.
"You know how I got that job at that coffee shop"
Arthur nodded. Recently, Queen had gotten a new job at a coffee shop near their place
"Well, everyday I walked ho,s there, this guy would come by, and walk behind me for a while, and he'd constantly yell at me, no matter how many times I told him stop. Sometimes it was just foul names, but other times he'd just yell about my family. At first, it didn't bother me. But, as days went on... Things started to break down. Soon I just..." Queen's face started grow red, and her eyes welled with tears.
Arthur took her hand. "Why didn't you tell anybody love?" Queen responded in a shaky voice. "That's the thing... I couldn't. He said if I told someone, he'd hurt someone dear and close to me..." Queen looked into Arthur's eyes. "You."
Arthur was speechless. He began to think out loud. "Why didn't I notice anything sooner..."
Queen cut in." 'Cause it's easy to fake a smile, When you've been doing it for a while"

That night, Queen came out of her room.
