JENNIFER'S P.O.V.
We reached the hospital in time and thank God both of them were fine. They were both sleeping in their respective rooms when Manik entered.
"Oh, so you got the time to come?" I said without hesitating.
"Look, sorry I didn't know. How is Mukti now? Is she fine?" he asked really concerned.
As if.
"Look, Manik, she's in. Okay? And now if you couldn't be on time, then just stop PRETENDING! Get that?" I said.
Oh come on.
Mukti is like...no... Mukti IS my elder sister and is my best friend. I cannot see her in such a condition. Manik wasn't late... He was very late. He was one night late! And poor Mukti thought that Manik was his best friend and would be always there for him... Oh yes, I see. He IS here so early.
It was only me waiting in the waiting room because I threw everyone else out of the hospital and sent them to the cafeteria to have something.
"By the way, what took you so long?" I asked.
"I was with Nandini and she was..." I did not allow him to complete and said, "Oh, so you were with her. Ya right. And so you didn't even bother to look up to your phone!" I shouted.
"I did not see it ringing!" he yelled.
"Oh please Manik, if we would have called you like for just one time or okay, maybe ten times, then we would have believed in your story of not hearing the phone. But we called you more than A HUNDERED TIMES! Manik, there is a limit to lie. Everyone was here except for you. Everyone. Though none of us had any work... Even any one of us could handle this situation but still everyone was here to just see that Mukti was al right or not except for you whom she thinks to be her best friend. Wao Manik, you rock." I said him straight on his face.
"I am sorry. if I knew that Mukti was in such condition then..." he tried to say but I shouted, "Enough Manik!" and went out of the waiting room to the loby and went and sat on the cool white chair kept there.
But I must understand his point of view as well... Maybe he couldn't come because of a huge problem... He is not like that... He can do anything for his friends.
No! Just look at him! Even now he is just looking down! Huh!
What has happened to him? I think it's Nandini!
AARYAMAN'S P.O.V.
"Hey Jenny, what happened? Why are you sitting out here? No one is there in the waiting room." I said taking a seat next to her.
"Manik's there. Don't worry." she said.
"Thank God he finally came." I replied.
"What? Thank God? He said that he was with Nandini and so he couldn't pick up our 100 missed calls!?!" she shouted.
"It's okay. Maybe his phone was on silent and so..." I began to say when she said, "IF YOU WANT TO TAKE HIS SIDE, THEN GO AND SIT INSIDE WITH HIM. NOT HERE WITH ME! OKAY?????"
