A/N - A very happy Choti Diwali to all of you!!! So, since I've got 21 votes on the previous chapter, it means that 21 of you lovely people want to participate! Cool! So, I will conduct a one shot competition whose details will be published as an independent chapter after the Diwali Special on each of my books. This is just a pre chapter.
MANIK'S P.O.V.
Nandini was inside the hospital. Inside the O.T. because when we reached the hospital and she was faint, blood started to come out of her nose. Doctors said that they could feel her pulse rate falling.
They said that this happens due to some special drug.
But I was with her all the time, then how?
"Manik, she'll be fine." said Abhi sitting on the hospital bed.
Mukti was already discharged as she was not very serious. But Abhi... He was quite hurt and had his left hand fractured.
"I pray..." I said.
She was in the O.T.. My Nandu was in the OPERATION THEATRE and I was sitting there helpless... I wish I was a doctor..
"Guys I'll be back." I said and walked out of Abhi's room to the waiting area outside the O.T. where Cabir, on seeing me shouted, "MANIK! Tu phir yaha ah gya! Samajh nahi aata ki tujhe itni tension nahi leni chahiye!?!"
"But she is in! Okay? I can't stay away. I am not strong enough to stay away!" I said.
Cabir nodded understandingly and kept his hand on my shoulder.
I closed my eyes and remembered all the moments we spent together....
"Manik... But Aaliya?" she said to me at the last year's Diwali Party...
"So stupid Navya... Hahaha.....
Manik, I will always shine for you." she said when she was drunk.
"Stop dancing!" she scolded me when I was dancing in the lungi...
"I love you." she said to me.
I am feeling so scared for her. But I trust her. She'll be fine. I know. But... I miss her. The way she calls out my name... The way she used to call me Monster Manik.... I love her. I love her more than my life.
"Mr. Malhotra?" said the Doctor and I opened my now red eyes.
"Yes... Is she fine?" I asked and got up.
"Yes. If you would have been a bit more late, then, we would have not said that. She was injected a special drug (imaginary) Wattug approximately ten hours ago. But now, she is fine. I have written some medicines. You can take her back home once she comes back to her consciouness." said the doctor and Cabir took the paper on which the doctor wrote the medicines and left to buy them dropping me to Abhi's room.
I began to think where she was ten hours ago. She was at home, drunk and sleeping. Which means, that someone has injected her at home. But Neonica is out of town and no one else was at home. Then, who?
"Manik! The Diwali Party is coming! Hello? Are you even listening? Acha Manik, will Abhi, Aaryaman and Jenny get the invite?" asked Mukti.
"Of course yes." I said.
"Cool." said Mukti.
SOHA'S P.O.V.
Manik! Manik! Manik! Where are you? You are not even at your farmhouse! You must be at some hospital with Nandini, after all, I injected her. Why do you care about her so much? Don't you know that it's you and me who are meant to be together?
This Diwali, I will show you who I am and where is Nandini's position. You will have to throw her out of your life.
