MANIK'S P.O.V.
"Manik, drive slow!" she shouted sitting next to me though her handbag was relaxing at the back seat.
"Come on, we are going to the cliff and except for mad people like us, no one goes there. Didn't you see that the hospital was almost like empty?" I answered.
She frowned and crossed her hands over her chest. She looked so cute and Angel-like doing so. She is child-like. I hate her. No, seriously. I mean, I hate her because she makes me fall in love with her like almost every second.
"Aie appa! Why does he never listen to anyone?" she said with a plastered cute frown looking towards the roof of my car.
"What? When did I not listen to you?" I asked with my eyebrows raised up.
"Right now! Why are you driving so fast?"
"It is just at the speed of 100!"
"Just 100?"
"Ya right, considering that it is an empty and expressway like road, it is just 100."
"Aie appa!", said the temple of cuteness, "Forget that. Manik, how is Abhi?"
"Even he is back to conscious."
"Thank God Manik! I was so worried."
I was so worried.
But why? Why? Why? Why? Whhhyyyyyy???????
"Manik, by the way, Abhi is like a brother to me."
Thank God.
I pretended not to smile as if I was serious but I couldn't help smiling at her.
"MANIK!!!! STOP!!!!" shouted Nandini and I reflexively stopped the car.
"What happened?" I asked all puzzled up when she was opening the car's door.
"Come. I'll show you something." she said and got down of the car. I followed the same.
"NANDINI! WAIT!" I shouted for she was running at a speed of a rollercoaster! I bet she could easily beat the bullet train.
I soon reached the point where she stood.
She stood under a shady group of trees where no sunlight could be seen. There, stood gleaming without any beam of light. No, I am sure these are not fireflies.
"Manik," she said excitedly and looked towards me and then, with her huge smile, she looked back towards the thing, "You know, this..this is a Harmaltopia! My ma al-always used to tell me a story about it. You know Manik, she told me that the fireflies got their light because they take nectar only from this flower and this flower--" she couldn't speak because she was very excited, "this flower only grew at places where there was true love and this flower, exactly like fireflies, glow only when true love is around them. I--I never thought that I could ever see it glowing!"
I smiled at her innocence.
"So, you mean to say that there is true love around here?" I asked taking a step closer to her.
"Yes."
"So, maybe that's us." I said and she blushed. I took another step near her while she was again about to spoil this moment when I said, "Don't tell me here also someone will come. It is not possible."
So she stood there blushing and we both slowly began to lean towards each other, when our lips were hardly a centimeter apart, but then, logo ko chain nahi hai. Yahan khud nahi aah sakte toh phone kar dete hai!
She smiled as soon as my phone rang and said, "I am going to sit inside the car. You come soon."
"No, wait I am coming---" before I could complete, she was out of my sight and I picked up Cabir's phone. He was teasing me that why I took so long to reach the hospital with Nandini. As soon as I kept the phone and reached the car, a huge smile was glued to my face.
Oh I love this girl!
Inside the car, she was sleeping peacefully. She looked so cute. I decided to stay quite and only tried to wake her up as soon as we reached the hospital.
"Nandini, wake up." I said.
No reply.
I again tried to wake her up and again no reply. I tried to shake her and realised that she was very hot. She was burning.
I got tensed and lifted her and ran inside the hospital.
