A/N - Hi! Don't worry, my break ups aren't saddie types. Even I don't like break ups and don't worry, they won't be like other ffs in which Fab5 becomes world famous and Nandini shifts to some other country... It would be normal.
MANIK
"Manik? What did you do? Do you think that Nandini can do this?" Dhruv scolded me in the hospital.
"But Buddy--" I tried to say something.
"No Buddy! Just think... How bad she must be feeling now... The person she expected to trust really broke it? Manik! What have you done? Ask yourself. Do you think that Nandini can do this? No. She can't. Even I am not ready to believe this and you broke up with her? Now don't waste your time here in the hospital! Take these."- he said picking up the flowers I got for them -"She needs it more! And you know what? Go and say SORRY with no ego! Chiraag lekar dhoondne per bhi Nandini jaisi girlfriend nahi milegi!" he said.
"Chill Dhruv. Stop scolding me!" I said to him.
"He is scolding perfectly fine! You deserve it! And Mukti, what were you doing there?" Alia said.
"Before I could say a thing Nandini left." Mukti said.
"Jennifer? Navya? What the hell were you doing? Sleeping?" Alia questioned.
"This Man! He is b*dass. He doesn't listen to anyone. He broke her heart." Jens said.
"Jens you too---" I tried to get someone on my side.
"What Jens? Manik? You should at least think before you say! You're such an idiot. You are lucky that Nandini is good at heart. If I were Nandini, I would have punched you right on your face and would have kicked you very hard!" Dhruv began again.
"Okay fine I'm going." I finally said and pulled the bouquet from Dhruv's hand. I drove to Nandini's home.
Chachi opened the door. She greeted me and welcomed me inside her home. She informed me that Nandini was not at home today. She went to hospital to visit Dhruv. Yes, seriously.
"Okay Chachi then I must leave." I said and stood up.
"Manik, is Nandini alright? I mean she came crying home yesterday and her room's a mess. She didn't talk to anyone. She just said that she is going to hospital." Chachi asked.
"Yes... Um... Chachi? Can I go to her room?" I asked.
"Sure." she said and I headed to her room.
Everything was a mess!
All her teddies and cushions were thrown here and there. Some fairy lights and stars were thrown on the floor and her fireflies jar was broken on the ground with no fireflies in it.
"Shit Manik what have you done?" I scolded myself.
"Manik? What are you doing in my room?" I turned around to find Nandini standing there.
"Was there something else you had to say?" she said angrily.
"I am sorry." I said without even thinking for once.
"Manik! Wow! Say a sorry and everything is fine, right?" she said.
"Nandini listen---" I said to her when she said, "I am not Nandini."
"What?" I asked confused.
She straightened her hand and gestured me to touch it. The hand dissolved in air like water and then came back to its original form.
"What?" I asked all confused.
"I am your hallucination." she stated.
"Then where is Nandini? In the hospital?"
"I thought that you would know that going to hospital was just an excuse."
"Then tell me where is she?"
"Where do all broken angels go?"
I froze. I couldn't believe what she said to me.
"MANIK! ARE YOU EVEN LISTENING TO ME?" Dhruv shouted.
"Yes Dhruv... I am." I said and concluded that it was a dream. I didn't go to Nandini's home. Dhruv was still scolding me for saying harsh words to Nandini. But this dream really scared me. Now I need to meet Nandini to see whether she's fine or not.
