A/N - So in this chapter a huge mystery is disclosed. I don't know whether it would be better than that shown in KY2, but I put my mind and soul in writing this.
MANIK'S P.O.V.
So Nandini finally came back to her consciousness. Thank God. I thought. She was in a miserable state. She was smiling, though. As if. As if I don't know that her smile was fake. As if I don't know she is just smiling for me, to make me believe that she was fine, but I could feel that she wasn't.
When she first came into consciousness, we all, including Aaryaman who self-discharged himself came.
"Nandu-man! So, how is it going?" said Cabir.
"Nothing. Just, nothing." she replied.
"Wrong! Diwali is coming and you have to be jaldi se (quickly) fine to celebrate it. Okay? Otherwise, what will Manik do?" he teased and I glared at him. "Oh-kay.... Sorry!" he replied to my glare raising his hands oh-so-ungracefully to my reply.
"Cabir, I think we must leave." said the non black and white Madhubala.
"Wait! Nandu-man, tell me one thing.--"
"Cabir... Come." she said in her white shorts and brown top. She then looked at me thinking that I didn't notice, but Navya, ha-ha! I did.
All of them nodded and left. All of them. So it was only me and Nandini.
I sat on the seat next to my Nandu. I wanted to cry but I didn't.
"Manik, are you okay?" she asked.
"Considering that you are sitting on the bed and I next to you, the answer is quite obvious." I replied.
"Manik, Manik I am not joking. Are you okay?" she asked.
Before I could say anything else, I heard Dhruv and someone else, maybe, (Oh God let it not be true) Rishab shout.
"Manik that's Rishab! Help me to go to him! Please!" she begged.
"Nandu, relax. Relax, okay. You are not going anywhere. You stay right here. I and Jenny will take care of them."
"NO WAY! Okay, if you don't take me out, then I'll go on my own!" she threatened. And then. She begun to get up.
"FINE!" I shouted and we both walked out.
She ran towards Rishab and began to console her while Jens was already trying to do so when I told her to help me take him away from Rishab.
I hugged him and we took him to the other side of the hospital with doctors and nurses gathering around. We were just shouting them to stay away while we tried our best to console him.
After a while, with his drawing the star and everything, I helped Nandu to get back to the hospital room, it was only me and Nandu – crying Nandu in the hospital.
"Manik.... Manik why does it always happen when Rishab and Dhruv see each other?" she asked sobbingly.
"Nandu, relax. We will figure it out."
