Chapter 2: Anything But Close

*Ariana's POV*

"So that means... I have to stay with you guys too?" I stutter.

"Yes, although we will be traveling very often and it may be something you'll have to get used to." Scooter replies and I nod.

"Is everything alright?" He asks me suddenly.

"Uh, yeah everything's.. fine." I say starring at nothing in particular.

"We better go, you coming?" Scooter asks and I nod.

"Bye Jen." I say gathering my stuff.

"Bye sweetheart, have fun." She replies waving to me.

Oh It'll be something, alright...

"So you've met Justin before, right?"

Much more than that...

"Uh, yeah.. We actually um, dated once." I say and feel my cheeks blush red, but why am I blushing? I don't have feelings for him anymore.

"Oh, so this'll be nothing weird for you then, since you guys are pretty close." He says and starts driving.

"Actually, we're anything but close..." I reply looking straight ahead.

"Oh?" He simply says and continues to talk.

"Well I'm sure you'll have so much fun on tour with him, the fans are amazing." He replies trying to lighten the mood.

"Can't wait." I say partly sarcastic.

My heart skips when I see we pull up to an all too familiar house...
