*Caitlin's POV*

"Hey Brynn." I spoke first.

"Hey, we haven't talked in a while. Are you okay?" She asked.

"Yeah, everything's fine." I assured her.

"Okay..." She said, sounding as if she wasn't convinced.

"I need you to come over tomorrow, I have a lot planned." I said quickly.

"Alright, see you then." She replied.

"Bye." I said then hung up the phone, sighed, and walked over to my jewelry box.

I searched through the drawers, then picked up the all-too-familiar handwritten note from years ago that read:

Dear Caitlin,

I've never felt so close to someone before. It's a new feeling for me, but I like it.
I know our relationship is getting harder since I've been experiencing a new lifestyle, but I couldn't throw away our precious memories together.
These past few years I've spent with you have been amazing, and I'm willing to do whatever I can to continue making new memories with you.
You mean the world to me.

Love, Justin

I still have this after all these years why?
It means so much to me to this day, and it's too difficult to let go.

I folded the note back up, careful not to wrinkle it. Then I put it back neatly where it was.

*Ariana's POV*

I woke up to the sight of a shirtless Justin on his side smiling at me. Probably one of the best feelings to ever experience.

"Good morning beautiful." He said and I bit my lip.

"Morning stalker." I replied and he chuckled.

"Ready for an 'all-about-Ariana' day?" He asked with a small smirk.

"Sure, what's first on your list?" I asked and he pretended as if he was scanning a list he had written on his hand, then came to a stop with his other hand's index finger.

"Cuddling... all day." He nodded his head once in confirmation.

"Sounds good to me." I laughed. Then I moved closer to Justin, as he wrapped his arms around my waist in a comforting way.

"I love you." Justin mumbled into the crook of my neck.

I still shuttered when he'd say those words, or any that had something to do with his feelings towards me.

And his touch... indescribable.

"I love you too." I said quietly.

"You know..." He trailed off, and I turned my head to look at him.

"Hm?" I asked, as if encouraging him to continue.

"If we... never mind." He replied quickly, as his cheeks heated up a bit.

"What rosy cheeks?" I giggled.

He just stared at me intently for a while. He finally blinked and smiled, showing his teeth briefly before it faded as fast as it came upon his face.

"You're so beautiful." He said out of the ordinary.

I blushed and brought my hand up to his face, then ran the pad of my thumb over his cheek.

"You're so amazingly perfect." I replied with a tight-lipped smile.

"That's impossible." He chuckled.

"No, because you just made it possible." I said as I looked into his golden-brown orbs.

I found it easy to get lost in them. It's amazing how you could tell everything he was feeling (and thinking), just by looking deeply in his eyes. They're honestly hypnotizing.

"How am I so lucky to have you?" He asked. Before I knew it, his lips were against mine lightly. It was a soft kiss, he seemed as if he tried to press his lips against mine any harder, they would shatter to pieces. Sometimes gentle kisses are the best of them all.

"You still haven't finished your sentence. What were you going to say earlier?" I asked after the kiss.

"What if we never got back together... Do you think you'd still be with Jai?" He asked, while looking down and playing with my fingers.

"Probably." I answered truthfully.

It was silent for a little while. Not that it was an uncomfortable silence, but it wasn't exactly comfortable either. It was just one of those silences when nobody has anything left to say, it was the satisfaction of the end of a conversation.

"Do you think you'll ever go back to him?" He asked.

This question threw me off. I couldn't be so sure, but I was at the same time.

What if Justin changed for the worse?
What if Jai changed for the better?

I don't know. I couldn't be sure, but I couldn't tell Justin that.

"I don't know, probably not." I decided to say, then something came to mind. "Would you ever get back with Selena?"

He was playing with my hair, but he didn't stop, nor say a word. I wasn't sure he even heard me.

"If you stay with me... I'd be stupid to."

Honestly, it made me think.

What if we didn't work out? Would we go back to our old ways?

"What are you thinking about?" Justin asked curiously.

"Us." I answered truthfully.

"What about us?" He asked.

"Remember the last time we were together and you cheated on me?" I asked.

He looked away in shame. "Yeah."

"You know, it takes a lot of trust and love to balance a relationship."

"What are you saying?" He asked, almost afraid of my answer.

"Just be careful with my heart, that's all."

I liked the end of this chapter.
the last sentence may have sounded familiar, because I got the idea from Justin's song 'Heartbreaker'.
