*Ariana's POV*

The next day I woke up to a knock on the hospital room door.

"Come in." I answered groggily.

My doctor stepped in and looked through his papers. "Looks like you're getting out of here in a few hours." He said looking back at me.

"Okay, so that's it? I just leave?" I asked.

"I have some prescription medication that will help your aching, headaches, bruises, and things like that. I'll be sure to give it to you before you leave." He said and I nodded.

"Thanks." I replied as he half-smiled, then walked out of the room.

It's still crazy to think I got in a wreck and I was barely hurt.

I heard another knock, then Justin cracked the door open and peeked in.

"How are you feeling?" His smile lit up the room.

"Better, knowing I get out of here soon." I said with a chuckle.

"I'm staying here with you until you can leave. I have to drive you home, and you're not gonna be driving for a while." Justin said while shaking his head.

A few hours passed, then the doctor told me I could leave and gave me the medication.

The moment I stepped out of the hospital, I felt relieved. I don't like being in the same place for too long, especially if it's a hospital.

"What do you want to do?" Justin asked and opened the door for me.

"I don't know about you, but I want to go home. I feel like taking a shower, then putting on some sweatpants." I said and laughed a little. He opened and shut my door for me, then opened his to get in.

"Okay, maybe you should take some medicine too. You probably need to sleep for a little while." Justin suggested, then started the ignition and started driving.

The whole ride I was anxious. Either I was telling Justin he was going too fast, or to watch where he was going.

"Do you really think I'd be dumb enough to let you get in another wreck, and take the chance of losing you again?" He said once we were home.

"Sorry, I'm still a little shaken up about the whole thing." I said and hurried into the house.

I made sure to take a long shower and made myself comfortable. When I was done, I went downstairs to see Justin on the couch.

"Hey babe, want to watch a movie?" He asked and I hesitated a bit.

"Um, I was thinking about going out for a little... fresh air." I said in a more questioning tone, rather than a statement.

He got up quickly and walked over to me, then cupped my cheek in his hand.

"You just got out of the hospital, don't you think you should rest?" He asked and I shook my head.

"No, I'm good- great actually." I flashed a big smile to top off my not so convincing excuse.

*Flashback*

"Hello?" I answered my phone.

"Ariana? It's Jai."

My heart seemed to have skipped not one, but two beats.

"Uh, hi." I said shyly.

"I'm visiting a hotel near you. I know last time we talked wasn't our best moment, but I'd like to see you again." He spoke nervously.

"I don't think that's a good idea." I said with uncertainty.

"I just want to catch up." He quickly added. "If that's okay with you?"
