"You're my shadow," she whispered.

She began to caress my cheeks then kissed my forehead. I closed my eyes with my tears falling down from my eyes.

"Please.. Please take me with you," I cried. "Without you in this world. It's a nightmare. It's hell," I glanced up to her. "It's lonely.."

She wiped my tears from falling. "We'll see each other again. I promise," she smiled. "Goodbye for now, shadow."

I reached for her arms, but she slowly disappeared. "No! Don't leave me. Please! A-"

I slowly opened my eyes when I heard the door open. I wiped my tears before someone else see's it and starts calling me weak for crying my eyes out.

"A-ah Ma'am Alia o-okay lang po ba kayo?" rinig ko sa assistant ko.

Itinaas ko ang kanang kamay ko bilang sagot. Hindi ko inikot ang upuan ko dahil ayaw tumigil sa pag patak ng luha ko.

Dahil na naman sa panaginip ko. It's because of you again that I cry my eyes out kahit hindi ako natutulog. Even when I just close my eyes, you somehow get into my mind and manage to send me some unbelievable image.

Is this a way to tell me never to forget about what happened? If it is, then you have gladly succeed on doing so. To tell you the truth, you didn't have to keep popping up in my head because there's no way I will be forgetting it.

How could I? The thought of you being killed in front of me would never be erased. Every detail of how it happened still lingered inside me. That's why everytime I close my eyes everything I see goes back to that time.

"M-Ma'am?" I snapped back in reality when I heard my assistants voice again.

Inikot ko ang swivel chair ko at tinignan ko siya ng walang emotion. Her face turned blue for no reason.

"What is it, Jessica?" tanong ko.

I can see she is trying to avoid staring at my eyes. Ugh. I haven't done anything, yet, they are afraid of looking at me.

"K-kanina pa po kayo hinihintay ni Ma'am Innogen," kinakabahan niyang sinabi sa'kin.

Freak!

Napatayo ako ng wala sa oras. I saw her flinch. "Why didn't you tell me sooner?!" I yelled.

Damn. Zie is going to kill me. Sa lahat ng tao na pinahihintay ko siya pa. She's going to kill me for sure.

"S-sorry po Ma'am. A-akala ko po k-kasi-"

"Enough! Tell her to come in," sabi ko at umupo ulit sa swivel chair ko.

"O-opo Ma'am," sagot niya. Agad siyang lumabas ng office ko.

Hinilot ko ang noo ko. Sumasakit ulo ko dahil sa mga employees ko. Tapos si Zie. Dear lord, I hope she's not in a bad mood.

"2 hours, 20 minutes, and 50 seconds," rinig ko sa boses ni Zie.

Tinaasan ko siya ng kilay.

Napagiwang siya tapos tinignan niya ko ng masama.

So she is mad.

"That's how long I have been waiting for you, Ms. Cordova," she emphazes the YOU in her sentence.
