Chris said it'd be nice if the paparazzi didn't know about me just yet. So every time we left the house he said I needed to wear sunglasses and a baseball hat. I was basically being hidden from the public. Chris wouldn't want the paparazzi knowing about me. He wouldn't want them to make up rumors of why I'm living with him. Other days the only way I could go out side was through the back due to people with cameras in the front. I didn't go outside as much as I use to in Boston. I missed Boston. I missed my mom. Staying in the shadows is hard when your living with an actor. I didn't want to go to public school for the fear of being begged by fans to get to come over and stuff. They'd only want to be my friend because of Chris. Chris had signed me up for an online school which I did every day except for the weekends. It wouldn't take that long to finish. I've been living with Chris for almost a week now and I'm still getting use to the fact I'm living with a celebrity. I normally stay hidden in my room or I'm out in the kitchen or living room with Chris. He's really nice. I couldn't help but smile every time he did something funny. I was still upset about my mothers death. We'd be flying to Boston for a funeral tomorrow. At least we were going to Boston. I already had my stuff packed and ready to go. Chris had made pasta tonight. He's not a bad cook. I could get use to his meals.
"Something's on your mind kid. What?" He asked cleaning the sauce off his mouth.
"Nothing" I said twirling my fork in the pasta.
"Spill the beans!" He said smiling.
"I-I'm gonna miss her" I said letting tears fall. I'd have my break down moments a lot and Chris was there to pick me up on my feet. He got out of his chair and rushed over to my side. He crouched down to look me in the eye. He slowly held me in a soft hug. At night I get little panic attacks when I have nightmares. Chris was always there. He acted so much like my dad. After dinner I walked back to my room and laid down on my soft bed. Slowly drifting to sleep. I missed her so much.

The next morning we were on the plane for Boston. I leaned on Chris and soon I fell asleep. When we arrived in Boston. Chris introduced me to his brother, his sisters, and his mother. Scott is his brother, Shana and Carley are his sisters, and Lisa is his mother. She's a nice women. Chris showed me to a room and said the funeral was soon. I took out my short black dress (dress above) I curled my hair and put on red converse shoes. Chris knocked on the door and told me it was time. He smiled kindly at me before opening the door for me. Carley was wearing a short dark blue dress. Shana was wearing a dark red dress and Scott was wearing a black suit just like Chris's. Lisa wore a long black dress. We drove to the funeral, rain poured lightly. Chris held an umbrella above me and Carley. I put a flower on my mothers body. Her beautiful brown hair was neatly straitened, she wore a white dress. Chris put a hand on my shoulder and I turned around to give him a hug. Then I saw someone I didn't want to see. Levi. That jerk!
"Hayley? Can I talk to you?" He asked moving his blonde hair from his face.
"I don't think I should risk getting punched" I hissed.
"Listen I'm sorry about that. I didn't think I'd turn out that way. I'm truly sorry" he said.
"Go away" I said.
"I just wanted to pay my respects" he said looking hurt by my harsh words.
"You don't know the meaning of respect. Now get out" I said not wanting to deal with him today. He turned sadly and left the funeral. I could tell Chris wanted to hurt him. I'm glad I have Chris by my side.
