How you Meet: Donnie

"April...what are we doing here?" You questioned your red-headed best friend. April had called you earlier, saying she needed someone to "patrol" with and she trusted you the most...you guessed.

"I told you before (Y/n), were on patrol. What don't you get about that?" She looked at you with an annoyed look and you groaned. You slapped your face you looked at her through your fingers.

"EVERYTHING APRIL! Why do you need to be on patrol anyways? You never told me anything about something like this!" You said loudly at her. She shushed you quickly and hid behind old wooden boxes. You stayed still until you heard nonhuman voices.

"The ones known as the turtles and girls have escaped. Activating-, " Before they could finish, you sneezed very loud. Probably all of New York could hear you....god damn dust particles.

"The ones that are unknown, step out now or be shot down. 10, 9,-" The robotic voices got louder with every number they count down to. You looked up at April with a horrifying look.

"A-April, I'm sorry! What do we do?" Before anything was said, she grabbed your wrist and started running with you.

"A-April! What are we doing?!" You yelled at her, concerned if your friend has gone crazy. She looked back behind you, then at you.

"If we run a little further, we can find them! Let me see if I can call them!" She used her free hand and took out a turtle shell-like phone and dialed a number. Right as someone picked up, April yelled at you.

"Oh god, (Y/n) jump!" Lucky for the both of you, you both jumped in time and a voice on the other side of the phone picked up.

"April, what's wrong? Who's (Y/n)?" You couldn't make out the voice because 1. You were running and all you can hear is the wind and 2. THEY'RE SHOOTING FREAKING LASER-LIKE GUNS AT YOU, BARLEY MISSING YOU.

"Donnie, now's not the time to ask questions. Please track down my T-Phone and help us!" She quickly ended the call and jumped once more until stopping. "April, why are we stopping? Shouldn't we keep going?" You had so much concern in you voice, not wanting to die today.

"If we stay put, they'll find us!" She looked at you like it was a normal thing to say.

"Who?!" You yelled at her as those robots were finally behind you.

"Us!" You looked up to see four....MUTANTS?! How in the world....you don't even want to question it..

"Raph, help me take down the two Kraang Bots. Mikey and Donnie, take April and the (y/h/c) girl away from here, we'll be fine!" All of a sudden, you're picked up way off the ground and everything seems like a blur.

You looked up to meet with mahogany eyes and a purple mask surrounding them. You picked yourself up and saw the turtle stand up. Oh geez...he's freaking tall..

"Are you okay?" The tall turtle asked you. You nodded your head reassuringly and smiled.

"Y-Yeah...I'm fine. Thank you." You held out your hand to him and looked back into his eyes, "I'm (Y/n), by the way." He looked shocked at first, but then quickly shook your hand back.

"Donatello is the name. But I find Donnie more efficient, don't you think?" You gave a small laugh and nodded your head. All of a sudden, a piece of paper was shoved in your hand.

"It looks like we have to go now, but it was great to meet you (Y/n), talk to soon!" And with that, they all jumped away from rooftop to rooftop. You look down at the paper to see a quickly scribbled note.

'I hope you're okay, nice meeting you!

"How cute..." You quietly mumbled to yourself.
