Getting Back Together: Mikey

Out of anyone, Mikey would have to be the last pers-...turtle to hurt you feelings. You thought he understood you, could be him around you, not find you annoying. It's only been a month since you've last seen him and it was always in between. Some days you were happy and some days you were sad. 

Today was the day you were sad.

On your bed, watching (y/f/tvshow) eating (y/f/food), wrapped in your favorite (y/f/color) blankie. It got to your favorite part of the show and you didn't even react to it like you normally do, and tears started streaming down your face as you remembered you and Mikey would always obnoxiously (laugh/cry/whatever you do) at this part since you've watched it 15 times a day.

You quickly got up and ran to your bathroom and washed your face with warm water. As you were drying your face, you saw a cd mysteriously appear with the words 'please play' with the hand writing of one person you know.

You picked it up and examined it. After a few minutes, you hesitantly put the cd in your DVD player and pressed play.

In an instant, it was a picture of Mikey, with a sad smile, holding a sign that said, and I quote,

'I should have never paused our relationship, let's resume where we left off. Please press play (Y/n)'

You quickly pressed play and it started playing your favorite song, '(y/f/song) by (whoever)', with a picture of you and Mikey when you met a second time, then first day, some days you both would play video games, skateboard, etc. All the memories you both created together were playing right in front of you, making your cry more than you were before, but with a smile on your face.

"I'm sorry (Y/n)...." Your head quickly turned to the right to see Mikey sitting in front of your window, staring at your tv that was still showing pictures of the both of you.

"I've never regretted anything more in my life. You're a perfect girl, dating me, a mutant! I was so scared of you leaving me that my mind just started to slowly let you go. But my heart....my heart still loved you, I still love you. I can never stop loving the one person who made me feel smart, so special, so unique like you did. You are the best thing that ever happened to me, even the invention of pizza! What I'm trying to say is, (Y/n) (L/n), will you please forgive me and be my one awesome girlfriend, again?" Mikey slowly got up in the middle of his speech and walked in front of you, tears falling down fast from his face.

You took a quick look at Mikey and saw his face was sort of a red color on his cheeks and his eyes, which were also puffy. His bright smile was removed with a frown that didn't look right on him. You slowly lifted you hand and put it on his right shoulder, making him quickly look up at you.

"Mikey, I don't know. What you said really hurt me and I don't understand what I did wrong. Did I not make you tha-,"

"YOU DID NOTHING WRONG (Y/N)!...It was me, it was all me. I was being selfish and taking your kindness for granted. Please don't think it's your fault. How about I get you something? I can buy you-," Now Mikey got cut off, but by your laughing. He thought it was strange until he saw tears rolling down your face. You quickly jumped in his arms and hugged him tightly.

"Mikey, you don't need to get me anything....I'm just so glad that you would do anything for me. It makes me feel important. Yes, I'll take you back Mikey. I could never say no to your cute freckled face." You kissed his cheek and he started laughing, smiling, twirling your around, you know, happy Mikey stuff.
