It was a long day......for Donnie! He couldn't make one of his experiments work. He was almost as grouchy as Raph after his 56th try.
"WHY WON'T THIS WORK!" He yelled and hit his head on the table.
"O-ow.....,"
You walked in on the perfect time to see what Donnie has done.
"Donnie? What's wrong?" You walked to your turtle, wanting to comfort him.
"It's my experiments! They keep on failing and I don't know why!" He held on to you, making him feel a little better.
You hugged back, really wanting to comfort him.......and help him. He started petting your hair and then running his fingers through your hair.
"D-Donnie?" You blushed, looking up at him to see his eyes closed.
"Hmmmm?" He hummed to you.
"Why are you petting my hair?" You were now Red but not with embarrassment.
Donnie didn't show his affection like this. Maybe a hug and a kiss but this was different. He opened his eyes and blushed back at you.
"Oh! Sorry (y/n). It's just your hair is so soft and it made me feel better....so....yeah," He let you go and went back to his work.
You went back in between his arms again and hugged him.
"I didn't say I didn't like it," You turned to the experiment and started fixing some defaults you instantly saw and he just started running his fingers through your hair again.
