Getting Back Together: Raph

'What a beautiful day...' You smiled contently as you looked at the sunset. The bright orange/red/yellow colors bursting out behind the clouds. Just a beautiful sight. You sighed and started to make your way back to your window, until a certain orange masked turtle jumped on you and started yelling.

"Dudette! Please come with me! Talk to Raph! Make him happy! Make him mean again!" You looked confusingly at him and saw Donnie and Leo walking behind him.

"What's going on? Why are you here?" You tried getting Mikey off your waist as you talked with the other turtles.

"It's Raph." Leo only said with a look in his eyes. You crossed your arms and just blankly stared at him.

"It's always Raph, isn't it?" You unenthusiastically stated but in reality, your chest was going in knots hearing his name, since the last time you saw him was only a few weeks ago.

"He's really out of it (Y/n). He almost got-!" Donnie was cut off short by Leo slapping the back of his shell, really hard, and giving you a fake smile.

"He almost got nothing out of it! Ha ha ha ha, Donnie, I sometimes wished you'd shut up for a moment." Leo started fake laughing again and you looked very concerned at the turtles.

"Raph what? What almost happened to him?" You still cared for him, you'd admit, so you felt like you had a right to know, right?

"He...we-well he...uhhh....Leo?" Donnie looked at his older brother and, before he could say anything, Mikey spoke up.

"HE ALMOST GOT KILLED! *sob* RAPH ALMOST GOT KILLED BY THINKING OF HOW HE MESSED UP! HE TOLD ME AND-AND-AND-*loud sobbing*" Mikey yelled out in hysteria and you almost passed out. Donnie was trying to calm Mikey down as Leo was trying to get your attention.

You ran. You started to run and Leo, Donnie, and a very loud crying Mikey. You made it to a specific man-hole and used all you strength to open it. Your footsteps echoed through the sewers as you ran towards not the Lair. You made it to Donnie's lab first, only to see Raph cover in cuts and bruises barley covered by gauzes.

"Oh god....Raph..." He looked up in surprise to see you, thinking you'd never wanted to see him again. He tried to get up but you ran to him and stopped him.

"You need to rest Raph, oh god I feel so bad." You started wiping your eyes, making sure you didn't have tears running down our face.

Which you did.

"Oh no no no! Don't cry (Y/n)! It's not your fault, it's mine! I should have been paying attention to what I was doing instead....I was thinking of you." He looked up into your slightly teary (y/e/c) hues with his electric green ones. You sort of smiled at him when he said that.

"You were thinking of me?" He cupped your face lightly with his hand as he gave you a soft smiled.

"I never stopped. I'm always thinking of you, even if we're broken up. I....I still love you (Y/n)." You smiled and, unintentionally, started crying again. Raph's eyes got wide and mistaken your tears as sad ones.

"Oh shit, I didn't mean to make you cry (Y/n), dammit! I'm the worst-!" You cut him off by hugging him and laughing a little, thinking he was being overly dramatic.

"These are happy tears Raph. And I'm willing to give you a second chance. Please don't make me regret what I'm doing." Without hesitation, Raph jumped up and hugged you, even if it was slightly killing him, he missed you in his arms.

"I missed this...I missed us."
