I groan and roll over as the alarm set for school today goes off. One more day and it's over for the summer. One more flipping day.

"Trin turn that thing off!" Ally throws something and screams from the bean bag chair across my room. She's even worse than me in the morning.

"Just get up. We have school." I roll my eyes and stand up, looking at the time. "It's 6."

"I'm done with school." She curls up into a ball.

"Don't make us late." I fold my arms and stand in front of her.

"I won't take long. Give me 5 more minutes." Ally groans.

"Fine." I sigh and walk to my closet, picking out what I want to wear. It's the last day so the least I could do is try. I pull out a pair of white high waisted shorts and a green lace crop top. I change into them and go to the bathroom to brush my teeth. Ally is snoring quite loud right now and it's pissing me off. I try to ignore her and continue to brush my teeth, spitting and glancing at her while I wipe my face. We have 30 minutes until 7 and Ally takes longer than that. I walk over to her and move her with my foot. Her body slumps over and she mutters something incoherent.

"ALLY DAWN WAKE THE FUCK UP!" I scream in her ear, causing her to fall off the side of the beanbag chair and land on the floor.

"Okay, fine." She snaps, standing up and going to my closet.

When we sleepover each others houses, it's okay to not bring clothes because we fit in the same stuff anyways. She grabs something and heads for the bathroom, slamming it shut behind her. I let out a loud sigh and go into the kitchen, plugging in my curler and making some breakfast. I put two bagels in the toaster and wait for the curler to heat up. I'm halfway done curling when there's a knock on the door. Maybe it's my mom. She forgets her keys a lot and said she was coming home this morning. I open the door with a smile, expecting my mother. Only, it's not.

"Um hi Jack. What's up?" I pull the door open more for Mr. Dail, allowing him to come inside.

"Just wondering what you're doing today. You look nice." He smiles and walks in, looking around.

"Well we actually have school." I tell him, closing the door and going back to my hair curler.

"We?" He raises his eyebrow.

"Oh, Ally slept over."

"Gotcha. Well, I can drive you guys." He shrugs and sits on the stool next to me.

"We might actually make it walking, thanks though." I lowkey reject.

"What time does it start?" Jack looks down at his watch.

"7:10." I finish curling my hair and unplug it.

"Uh you have literally 10 minutes." He raises his eyebrows.

"Oh, snap." I jump out of my seat and run to my room, knocking on the bathroom door. "Ally get out. We're gonna be late." I grab my backpack and my phone off the charger. "Hey, Jack?" I call to him as I walk out, trying to slip into my Vans.

"Yep?" He smiles and walks to me.

"Could you still drive us?" I put my other shoe on and hopefully look back at him.

"Of course." He winks and swings his keys around his fingers.

"Coming." Ally comes out flawless and with her backpack all set.

"Okay. Let's go." I push them to the door and run to the toaster, taking out the bagels and walking out with them.

"Where you going?" Grayson calls behind me once I shut the door.
