"So what do you feel like doing?" Hayes raises his eyebrows when we walk back outside.
"Not sure. I just feel like I need to forget about what I saw earlier." I shrug and look at the carpet famous people are walking down with camera flash illuminating the scene.
"Come on." He pulls me towards the carpet but I plant my feet on the ground.
"What? No way."
"They'll take pictures of us together and I'm sure your boyfriend will see them."
"I don't know if revenge is the way to go about the situation." I bite my lip.
"Oh, just come on." Hayes pulls me onto the carpet in front of The Outfield background and immediately people call his name. He smiles and waves, keeping our hands intertwined.
I don't even know how I should feel. I know that deep down in the pit of my stomach, it's turning. Even though Grayson was with a different girl, I don't blame him. I'm a lost cause at this point who is broken and doesn't know right from wrong.
"You okay?" He looks down at me.
I nod and clear my throat. "I just wanna go."
"Okay." We walk towards the end until a reporter from some magazine stops us.
"Hayes Grier and Trinity Toures?" She points her microphone at me.
"H-how did you know who I was?" I raise my eyebrows.
"You're Cameron Dallas's half sister and currently dating Grayson Dolan."
"Oh, I'm not dating him." I quickly interject.
"I see." She nods and turns to Hayes. "How long have you and Trinity kept your dating secret?"
"What?" Hayes and I say at the same time.
"It's obvious. You two look perfect together." She smiles.
"We gotta go." I pull Hayes away and walk back to the busy LA streets.
"Are you hungry?" He smiles and shrugs. "I know you're probably still thinking about Grayson but you should just try and keep him off your mind."
"You're right. But, I'm not really hungry at the moment." I smile back.
"I have an idea. You down for some walking?" Hayes smirks.
"Sure. Should I be scared?"
"Never." He pulls me over and calls an uber. We get in and drive to a deserted area with a whole bunch of signs.
"What is this? Are you killing me?" I laugh.
"No. Just follow me." We walk through paths and up different trails. Finally, we make it up and I instantly know where we are; the Hollywood sign. From up here, you can see the all the lights from Los Angeles. It's weird that I've lived here all my life and never really came here.
"It's beautiful here." I smile.
"Yeah, I've been here a few times for photo shoots." Hayes turns to me.
"It's kinda chilly up here." I laugh and rub my arms.
"Here." He takes off his suit jacket and drapes it over my shoulders.
"Very cliche." I shake my head.
"Hey, I have to be a cliche teenage boy." He smirks.
"It does make a girl feel better." I laugh and sit on the cold ground.
"Most girls wouldn't even sit down in a dress like yours." Hayes sits down next to me.
"Then I guess I'm not like those girls." I lean back and lay down.
"You definitely aren't." He leans back with me and we look up at the stars.
There's a moment of silence before I turn to him. "Do you have a girlfriend?"
Hayes smiles before answering. "No. There have been girls that are nice and gorgeous at meet and greets but I haven't dated any of them. I guess I've been really busy lately."
I nod and look back up at the stars. Maybe I should let Grayson go. Maybe he's better off going with different girls. He is a teenage boy who is YouTube famous after all.
"I don't know why anyone would cheat on you, Trinity." Hayes places his hand over mine.
"I do." I sigh.
"What do you mean?" He sits up and frowns.
"Can I tell you something?" I sit up as well and look down at my hands.
"Of course."
"My mother died a short while ago. Though I hadn't seen her much, she was my everything. I rarely saw my father, as they were divorced and he had another family. Uh, I came home one day and she wasn't there. The police found her dead later and I broke down. I don't know, I guess it got too much. When I was staying at Cameron's apartment, I-" I take a deep breath as a tear runs down my cheek. "I tried to kill myself."
"Oh my God, Trinity." Hayes pulls me into a warm hug, stroking my head.
"I would've cheated on me too." I whisper.
"No, you wouldn't. You would realize that you needed to be there to comfort you, that nothing could keep you from making you feel loved." He pulls away and looks at his phone. "I should probably get you home."
"I guess you're right." I stand up and wait for him to lead the way back through the paths.
"If I were you, I wouldn't talk to that jerk ever again." He shakes his head and wraps his arm around my shoulders. "After hearing what you've gone through, he's lost my entire respect."
I shrug and sigh. "I don't know what to think of him at the moment."
"How did you even meet him?"
"My best friend, Ally, is obsessed with him and his brother. She was going to the airport to meet them and he crashed into me with his hover board. I lost my Taco Bell from that." I laugh.
"Damn, he really messed up your Taco Bell?" Hayes gasps.
"Shut up." I shove him and smirk.
I laugh as we walk to where our uber is parked. The ride was quiet again, only because it's awkward when the uber is listening in. I get to Cameron's building and tell Hayes he doesn't have to walk me up, but of course he has to.
"No, really. You're just going to have to wait to get another uber." I sigh and open the door to the lobby.
"Oh well." He shrugs and follows me in and to the elevator. "I really don't even mind."
"Fine." I shake my head and step out, walking to Cameron's door and unlocking it. When we step in, I turn to say goodbye when something moves out of the corner of my eye.
"How did you get in here?"
