I watch the end credits roll away, satisfied with the movie. I've seen it just about a million times and it never gets old. Glancing beside me, I notice everyone passed out. I move Ethan's head off my shoulder and go up the stairs with my empty bowl. I make it to the kitchen quietly, putting my bowl in the sink. When I turn around, I come face to face with Cameron.

"Cameron, I didn't know you were home." I try to compose myself.

"I just got home like an hour ago. Where are the boys?" She goes to the fridge and pours herself some water.

"Downstairs. They were having a sleepover." I shrug and sit at one of the stools.

"You don't seem too happy about it." Cam sits at one of the other stools and raises her eyebrows.

I sigh. "It's not that I don't like their friends, it's just that they are intense."

"I understand. How are you and Grayson?"

"Fine." I look away, trying to avoid the coming conversation.

Cameron puts her hand on my arm, causing me to turn to her. "You can talk to me. We may be related, but I won't always side with their choices."

"I just don't think Grayson likes me anymore. Maybe I should go back home?"

"You should talk to him. Relationships are based on communication, right? Going home is your choice. I would just make sure it's right before taking action." Cam gets up and takes her water. "I'll see you tomorrow."

I look to the clock and see that it's 12. It must be 8 in Cali right about now. I take my phone from my pocket and click on Cameron's contact. It rings twice before he answers.

'Hey Trinity.'

"Hi Cam." I laugh to myself, thinking about how I was just talking to someone else with the same name as my brother's.

'How's New Jersey? Are you enjoying yourself? Better not be pregnant when you get home.'

"I assure you, I won't be knocked up. I kinda called because I'm not really having that good of a time here. It's just that I don't think Grayson and I are going to work out. I also had an episode earlier today and I wouldn't say I'm okay."

'Trin, I'll buy you a plane ticket right now and get an uber to bring you to the airport if you need me to. If you're not having a good time, no one is forcing you to stay there.'

"Can I think about it? I just want to be positive that I need to come back home."

'Okay. Maybe you should try calling Dad. I know conversations aren't always easy with him, but you may need to talk to a parent.'

I nod to myself, a tear slipping out. "I'll try to call him. Bye Cam."

'Goodnight Trin.'

I hang up and wipe my eyes with one hand as I click on my father's contact. Bringing the phone back to my ear, I hear it ring all three times to end with his voicemail. I put the phone back down on the counter and sit still, letting the tears fall.

"Trinity? What are you doing up?" Grayson appears in the kitchen, his hair a mess, but a hot mess.

I wipe my face, clearing my throat to answer when his face contorts to show worry.

"What's wrong?" He comes over to me and wraps me into a hug.

I've forgotten how good it felt to be in his arms. "Stuff." I laugh a bit at the end to make it seem less sad, yet the sound comes out like a dying cat.

"This isn't just anything. You can tell me, you know that." Gray pulls away and helps me wipe my eyes.

I shake my head and smile. "I'm alright, you can get back downstairs."

"I came to look for you. I didn't see you down there when I woke up a couple minutes ago." He frowns.

"I'm happy you realized I was here." I nod and stand up, walking to the stairs.

Grayson trails behind me. "What's that supposed to mean?"

I stop on the first step and turn around. "Look, we haven't spent any time together since I have come here with you. I wanted to give you a second chance and all, but I don't think you even like me." I cringe at the last part before adding on to my mini spiel. "It doesn't help that I keep thinking about my dead mother and when I need to talk to my dad, he doesn't answer. Cameron can only give so much love, ya know?" I give a humorless laugh before heading up the stairs.

Despite my rambling, I still hear Grayson following me. I don't know what that kid wants anymore.

All of a sudden, I feel hands on my legs and I'm thrown over his shoulder. "Grayson!" I whisper-shout.

He says nothing, continuing on to his bedroom. Closing the door with his leg behind us, he flops me down onto the bed and kisses me. I kiss back, regardless of the previous issues. Something about Gray just feels right.

"I can't believe you would think I don't like you." Grayson mutters, holding himself over me by his elbows.

I shrug and look away. This causes Gray to kiss my neck and I giggle because it tickled. "Stop."

"What? I couldn't hear you." Grayson continues to kiss all over my face.

I laugh and curl up into a ball, watching him fall down next to me.

"Trinity Mae Toures, I could never not want to be with you at every waking second." He moves a strand of hair out of my face and kisses my cheek. "It's late. Let's sleep."

I crawl under the covers next to him and fall asleep with my head on his chest. This was the happiest I have been on this vacation.

"Yo, Gray come see this!" Brad waves Grayson over to the other end of the boat.

Grayson kisses my cheek before leaving me. I sigh and breathe the lake air, looking at the choppy waters.

Apparently we're all going tubing, minus rose. She had some appointment for something. Honestly, good riddance. Cam's here though. I really am glad that I'm not the only girl here.

"It's good to see you two made up." Cam walks over to me and looks on the horizon.

"Yeah, I took your advice and told him what was on my mind." I smile.

"I'm not all devil." Cameron smiles back.

"I didn't know you had an evil bone in your body." I put my hands up.

We laugh together when Grayson comes back over and shoves a life vest at me.

"What is this for?" I look at it and look back to him.

"We're going first." He grins.

"Going where?" I frown. Suddenly, I'm scared.

"There, sweetheart." Lucas points to the tube that was getting lowered into the water by Brad.

I swallow and turn back to Grayson. "We are holding onto that?"

"Yeah. Put your vest on and hop in."
